Im sure Ill get crap for this....but that was horrible officiating last night.

You guys got every ticky tack foul away from the basket to put you in the bonus, while Kobe is bouncing off bodies and Pau is getting his arms hacked by Oden. Really...there was some serious lopsidedness

Are you as embarrassed by what you post as often as we are embarrassed by what you post?

    Stop. JUST STOP!
Lakers fans have NO BUSINESS bitching about officiating...none..never (WCF in 00 and 01 ring a bell?)
You got your fair share of the calls, do the 3 phantom whistles on Kobe ring a bell?

If we didn't, as a group, complain about calls on a regular basis as Blazers fans, I would agree that he should stop. But, alas, we do. So I don't.

With that being said, a Lakers fan complaining about free throws is hilarious.

The Blazers attacked the rim in the fourth last night. A couple of calls were made early in the quarter that snowballed into lots of free throws by the end.

It was great, and it was the way it should have been. I bet we could go call-by-call and analyze and we'd find very few calls that were not correct in terms of the Blazers being fouled.

On the other end, there might have been a few that Portland got away with, but that's the way things go sometimes. I'm just glad that they went our way last night, and I hope we get a couple of games like that in the playoffs whomever we play.

Laker fans have no shame when it comes to complaining about officials. Kobe twice got and-1's where no one touched him, but referees anticipate it. How about the one where he used Batum to push off for a fall away jumper, and got bailed out when the ref called the foul on Nic?

I completely agree. It was ridiculous when they called fouls on Kobe just for pushing Nicolas Batum to the ground to clear space or raking Brandon Roy across the arms in a futile attempt to steal the ball. Clearly, these refs didn't follow David Stern's primary commandment: Thou Shalt Not Call A Foul On Kobe.

On the contrary... I thought it was the fairest officiating I've ever seen. Ever. In the history of the NBA.
