[/COLOR]7:00PM et start. @ Toronto visits Boston to take on the rival Bruins in what should be, if history is a good indicator of the future, a scrappy affair. Some late and fortunate goals lifted the Leafs past Florida on Tuesday night, as Phil Kessel scored his 7th goal of the season in 8 games. Now the focus is on a line-up that will be without Colby Armstrong. Armstrong left Tuesday night's game after a slash to his stick by Christopher Higgins. He finally sat out a game this season, though he may have originally injured himself in the first 2 games. Luca Caputi is a possibility to be taking his spot in the line-up, though Wilson is usually apt to go with John Mitchell. It is not known whether or not Toronto will go with Jean-Sebastien Giguere or Jonas Gustavsson. Maple Leafs' Projected Line-up: Forwards: Kulemin-Bozak-Kessel MacArthur-Grabovski-Mitchell Sjostrom-Brent-Caputi Brown-Zigomanis-Orr Defence: Beauchemin-Phaneuf Kaberle-Schenn Lebda-Komisarek Goaltenders: Giguere Gustavsson Bruins' Projected Line-up: Forwards: Lucic-Krejci-Horton Caron-Bergeron-Wheeler Recchi-Seguin-Ryder Thornton-Campbell-Marchand/MacGratton(?) Defence: Chara-McQuaid Ference-Seidenberg Stuart-Hunwick Goaltenders: Rask Thomas The highlighted, italicized, bolded, and/or coloured names are the players who either have much history between the two clubs, or could make some tonight. What makes this rivalry all the more significant is how recent the events have occurred. Leafs' sniper Phil Kessel was traded for a 1st round draft pick in the 2010 draft which turned out to be Tyler Seguin, who is trying to find a spot on the club in his rookie season. The Leafs also gave up a 2nd round draft pick in this year's draft, as well as a 1st in 2011's draft. Kessel had drawn the ire of the Bruins' fan base over the years for wanting to leave the organisation, as he felt he wasn't wanted anymore. That's when Maple Leafs' GM Brian Burke stepped in to make the deal which brought him to Toronto. Kessel has performed well for Toronto this season, but struggled mightily last year when playing against the Bruins. Milan Lucic seems to be in a situation where 3 Leafs might want a shot at dropping the gloves with him... again. Obviously, Mike Komisarek's fight is the most memorable, as he was completely and utterly destroyed by Lucic in his last season with the Habs. Komisarek suffered a shoulder injury which hampered his performance last year with Toronto. He took the last off-season to repair it. Mike Brown, though out-matched physically, was brought down by Lucic while Brown was with the Anaheim organisation. Despite Brown falling to the ice before the fight even began, Lucic continued to pummel him and broke many "codes" that are said to exist in the NHL in the process. When it comes to Colton Orr, however, Lucic may be seeking redemption after being criticized for a fight between the two where he was called out be Don Cherry and fans for bailing on a fight when it was clear he was not going to defeat Toronto's heavyweight. It has all come together in what should be a eventful night.
Re: (10/10/28) GDT#9: Toronto Maple Leafs @ Boston Bruins (There WILL be Blood & Capu Suggestion to help the blind, like myself, be able to read the font. Pick a darker color, like this one. It seems like a Bruin color, and I don't have to highlight the words to read it. Other than that, I'm looking forward to seeing highlights. =D
Re: (10/10/28) GDT#9: Toronto Maple Leafs @ Boston Bruins (There WILL be Blood & Capu Sweet, thanks BLA!
Re: (10/10/28) GDT#9: Toronto Maple Leafs @ Boston Bruins (There WILL be Blood & Capu Watching the game. Good ceremony for the Bruins legend.
Re: (10/10/28) GDT#9: Toronto Maple Leafs @ Boston Bruins (There WILL be Blood & Capu Yeah. I missed most of it, but it looks like it was pretty good for the Bruins. #4, Bobby Orr.
Re: (10/10/28) GDT#9: Toronto Maple Leafs @ Boston Bruins (There WILL be Blood & Capu It was #15 on the banner.
Re: (10/10/28) GDT#9: Toronto Maple Leafs @ Boston Bruins (There WILL be Blood & Capu LOL! I know. I just like saying that. It's a power struggle right now, but Toronto's playing well.
Re: (10/10/28) GDT#9: Toronto Maple Leafs @ Boston Bruins (There WILL be Blood & Capu Oh, xD. Boston did pretty well on the penalty.
Re: (10/10/28) GDT#9: Toronto Maple Leafs @ Boston Bruins (There WILL be Blood & Capu Yup. Leafs returned the favour. A little over 5 minutes remaining the period remaining. Gusty has been solid.
Re: (10/10/28) GDT#9: Toronto Maple Leafs @ Boston Bruins (There WILL be Blood & Capu 1-0 Bruins. Bergeron on the Powerplay in the last minute of the 1st. Toronto better come out hard in the 2nd, but continue to play it smart. They'll be wanting to cash in on any turnovers and excessive pinch-ins. Caputi looks good.
Re: (10/10/28) GDT#9: Toronto Maple Leafs @ Boston Bruins (There WILL be Blood & Capu Good game, Bruins playing well, Leafs can't seem to get a break. Steeger is out sadface.
Re: (10/10/28) GDT#9: Toronto Maple Leafs @ Boston Bruins (There WILL be Blood & Capu 2-0 Boston. Good goal by Segiun. Stupid how Horton got a 10 minute penalty when Phaneuf was obviously throwing punches when he was laying on the ice.
Re: (10/10/28) GDT#9: Toronto Maple Leafs @ Boston Bruins (There WILL be Blood & Capu It ends 2-0. The Leafs need to start throwing pucks at the net in their next game. They've become too fancy. Other than that and the turnovers that they still need to work on, they were decent. They just got beaten by a better team. Congrats to Seguin though. That was a nice goal, and he had a solid game. Agreed on the Horton call. That was terrible. There shouldn't have been anything extra in that fight; They both threw extra punches.
