I went into the box score and saw Kobe on 43, then I was thinking "c'mon second OT so he can get another 50", then I look up... "G. Arenas - 17/32 - 58 Points"
dammit. We almost had two huge comebacks in a row. Those final seconds i was dying. 3 three point attempts missed in a row by the Lakers.....sigh..
It was a good game. We just ended up on the shortend of the stick. radman is starting to heat up so that is a positive on this game.. Our transistion defense was horrible tonight though and rebounding is a big issue too. Washington had too many damn 2nd chance points.
Kobe's been seriously flirting with triple doubles the last couple games. 2 rebounds shy this time. It was two assists the last game.. haha

My boy Arenas killed us tonight, 60, 8, and 8. That part of me is happy. The other part of me is pissed we played like crap in overtime.
<div class="quote_poster">GameFace Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">When was this ever in question?</div> Edit- He is proving that he can be a better scorer than Mr.Bryant.
<div class="quote_poster">Carter Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Edit- He is proving that he can be a better scorer than Mr.Bryant.</div> LMFAO how do you figure that? <u>Kobe Bryant</u> 81 points 62 points (3 quarters--not 4 + an overtime like Arenas) 50+ 13 times Before tonight, Gilbert Arenas' career high was 47. Kobe Bryant has topped that numerous times. Kobe Bryant can get to the rim whenever he wants. I'm a huge Gilbert fan, in fact, him and Kobe are tied for my favorite players. But I recognize facts when I see them, and Arenas is a great scorer but he's not on Kobe's level.
I just got back from a XMAS party and heard the recap on the radio. WTF happened tonight defensively for us? How did the Wizards shoot 60 FTs on just 87 FGAs? Why was Sasha allowed to shoot 7 times in this game?

The Wizards got all of their points from the line in the last 3:46 after Antonio Daniels sank a jumper. The Lakers commited lazy fouls and Arenas was able to drive to the hoop and get to the line from there. The Wizards are still trash when it comes to defending the perimeter with Radmanovic starting out hot early, and then Kobe and Farmer hurting the Wiz from the 3.
Man, judging by the boxscore for the Lakers, we should have won that game... Nice performances by many players...
No way in hell should we have won that game, our defense was pitiful. I'm glad we lost, I hope it makes something click defensively. If the Wizards can do that to us, I don't want to picture what the Suns will do.
that was a hell of a game! i dont care if we lost! lol both teams played great Kobe 45pts 15-24 FG 7-11 3ptFG 10assists 8rebounds Arenas 60 pts 8rebs 8assists
<div class="quote_poster">Carter Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Edit- He is proving that he can be a better scorer than Mr.Bryant.</div> i hope your joking, just because he scores 60 tonight, which was fantastic, he is nowhere near bryants scoring abilities, not even close.
Very nice game by Kobe, but a HUGE game by Arenas. Franchise record. I was gasped in amazement when I saw that Brian Cook's CLUTCH three-pointer. It was awesome ! ;D Great game.
