Is this what we have to look forward to all summer? You constantly attacking people you disagree with?

You said MVPs get max contracts. Durant wasn't an MVP when he got his max contract. If you don't want people to comment negatively on your posts, don't post stupid posts. :dunno:

Oh I see, the attacks started AFTER that post? My bad.... I was under the assumption that you were freaking out since yesterday...

Did I say only MVPs get max deals? Nope.

Neat story. That has nothing to do with Durant getting a max deal before his MVP.

Forums wouldn't be any fun if everyone agreed with each other. It's the differences in opinions that makes it interesting and keeps the discussion going.

Please remember that and even if you don't agree with something that someone says it would be even worse if they agreed with you.

Tony Parker signed a 4 year / $50 million contract with the San Antonio Spurs, including $41,000,000 guaranteed, and an annual average salary of $12,500,000.

    Max.

come on.... they do, and that's not what you implied..... : /
or were trying to say... I don't want to get into this again with you, it's not worth the time and effort.
    agree to disagree.

He's also making about 10 million per year less than what LA would be making in his next deal. So how is it relevant to a $127 million dollar contract? How many people are making that much in the NBA?

He signed a 5 year deal worth $86M in the old CBA

    That's not a max contract

Weren't you just whining about posters being black/white?

Because to me, it seems like you either think LMA will sign the uber-max deal, or he must be traded. I've posted many times I can easily see him taking 5/$100m, which is completely reasonable as the salary structure continues to grow. You're taking today's cap numbers and applying them 6 years down the road, which by the way probably won't even be relevant, since the next opt-out CBA date for both sides is in 2017. Hell, maybe if LMA does underperform on a $20-22m/year deal, he can be amnestied after the 2017 renegotiation.

Pant-shitting over things that may happen 6 years from now is just so distant from reality to me that I really can't help but just shake my head.
