Hey how much did you fetch for that 4runner, if you don’t mind my asking? I’ve got literally the same car, year newer, I’m gonna sell here soon. Got a newer model 4runner for the wife recently.
So with the damage on the passenger side it BlueBooked at $3,000. Fixed, it was close to $7,000. We weren’t going to put any money in it at all, just wanting to get rid of it. Good friend of mine at the Blazers kid was wanting to get his son a first car, and knew we took care of it up until my son got ahold of it. Sold it to him for $3,000. They really do hold their value, very dependable cars as I’m sure you know.
Yeah I was thinking around 4K. Mines all straight but has higher miles. Crazy how well they hold their value, but it’s worth it. We bought this thing as a daily driver 5 years ago and it has been an absolute tank. Kids, dogs, lake, camping, road trips, all that shit. Never any major problems, it just goes and goes. Bought it for 6k, got five years out of it and will probably still fetch us a nice chunk of change to throw at the new one.

Because that would be a landslide victory for me! Lol At least competing for who can throw the most BS at each other provides some actual competition.
