Geez, I may pass the Senator this year. I have had six encounters with law enforcement already this first half the year. Probable the only reason for not more is the MarAzul is in the shipyard. I bet I pull even at least, with the trip to Port Townsend come up.

 

Well, it's a profession that includes combat at times. It's not very surprising to me that cops face death much more than any other group of people, possibly outside of military deployed to combat zones.

Also, it bears noting that American society is among the most violent among Western democracries, which raises the risk factors for cops.

Find me an article or study that takes into account that guns are black for the most part. So, cops would probably have a harder time being able to recognize a gun on a black guy.

Black guys should all buy silver or chrome guns so they are more visible. It would be safer.
