So you give up on him? What if he was 12 and saying these things? Would you give up on him then? It's obvious he's a victim of serious trauma to be thinking such thoughts(thinking such thoughts is trauma in itself besides). I see no problem with him receiving SSI. His life must be torture.
what if he were a plant? then you could sell him to a traveling circus! he could work the sideshow as "vine man" the half plant baby person, maybe then you could barter some magic beans to use in a top secret moon landing experiment on flatulence in low g situations. then i would never give up on him ever ever.
An obvious case of fraud, which now that it has come to light I assume will result in criminal penalties and financial restitution.
I didn't see this post, but I'll respond to it: a 12 year-old is a child. Society has a more sever responsibility to give children a chance to succeed. If an adult wants to kill himself, then (in my opinion) he should be able to. Let those of us who want to live do so. To think that we should want to expend resources to keep him around--to respond to a thread like that by continuing to feed and house him--is just idiocy. Ed O.
I suppose if it was your mother you wouldn't support her either. I must be an idiot. Edit: If he wanted to kill himself he would have done it already. What do you propose we do with housed criminals who end up costing the taxpayer vastly greater resources? Are you arguing this vast difference is worth it to keep you a little more safe? This man has done nothing wrong as far as I am concerned, yet because he is not a criminal he is banished to the streets : a breeding ground for criminal behavior. He either kills himself or he wills to live on, unable to care for himself as a normal person. He might adapt, he most likely won't. Good riddance.
It's not his mother. It's a grown fat man who wears a diaper and sleeps in a crib who says he won't live if taxpayers won't support him. I think you're on to something there. Yep. Darwin got that one right. My first clue was when he allowed himself to be filmed for a national TV show while wearing a baby diaper.
Mr. Poopy Pants looks like he can afford to skip some meals.
