who picks the All-Star dunks and 3-pointers?

I'm just wondering who picks which players are going to be in the slam dunk contest and the 3 points contest? [IMG]

how about Vince , Tmac and Kobe for the Slam Dunk contest? [IMG]

and how about Baron Davis , Shammond Williams and George from lakers in the 3 points contest? [IMG]

or maybe the first 3 to the 3 pointers also [IMG]

pick the players you think should be in it!

    Happy Christmas Everybody! [IMG]

I predict the east for the upset followed by a massive tripple double by Jermaine Oneal.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting notMuchgame:</div><div class="quote_post">I don't think LeBron should be an all-star. He's putting up solid numbers, but on a terrible team. A guy like Elton Brand in the past had put up 20 and 10 and is penalized for playing on a bad team. Yes, i realize that Ilgauskas was an all-star last year but that's becasue the East needed big men in the game. There is a lot of depth at the guard/forward position in the East.

Also, a lot of guys are putting up good numbers for the Cavs. Ricky Davis has similar numbers to James, and Boozer is averaing a double-double. So it isn't all about the numbers. Or else, 3 cavs would be potiential allstars!!?

Everyone has given LeBron everything, lets allow him to earn some for himself. He'll make the all-star team next year and probably for the next 15 years.

btw, J-Rich 3-peats in the dunk contest, unless Vince decides to join.</div>

Amen brother. Let the kid earn something for a change

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Purple N Gold:</div><div class="quote_post">And the laugh of the day, Chris Webber is leading Peja in votes [IMG] [IMG] . That is just wrong, Peja goes and plays his heart out leading the Kings to an awesome record while Webber is sitting watching him in on the bench, and still gets more props! Things like this simply ruin the All Star game, maybe the fans shouldn't get the chance to vote! [IMG] Because at this rate all it looks like is fake basketball fans just clicking names.</div>

if you remember, this didn't happen before internet voting. when ballots were only at the games and other venues more real fans voted, and the deserving people got in.

I'm one of those people that don't think Melo is a great dunker... have you seen him in college doin great dunks?

If you had hoped on the bandwagon after he won the National championship you would have seen him win the McDonalds High School All American dunk contest you would say different

    Hey

First fo all...Why would Bron end up starting for T-Mac? You guys are morons! Bron is a PG (Point Guard for those of you that don't know) and T-Mac is a SG (Shhoting Guard!) That makes me laugh. Also, Gary Payton has been, from what I hear, getting a good amount of votes for starting PG. That would be kind of cool. Three Lakers in the starting line-up! And Karl Malone! Nah, the Malone part will never ever happen again. Now that we have PF's like Duncan, KG, Etc. GP I also doubt but that's what I heard. Kobe and Shaq Fo' Sure starting. East...I don't know. I will tell you this though...T-Mac will not be replaced by Bron and if he is...Well that's just weird!

Yea, but most of the people that went to High Priced games like that back then were rich, white (No Offence to anybody) business guys or girls with their Hubbies and Wifes! That was dumb when they used to do that, but now, who knows! I think only GM's should pick the All-Star game players.
