I was just going to mention Luke. He has the PG position on lock and with Weiss wanting a fast pace up & down game expect Luke to thrive under that system and rank a bunch of assists and easy points from layups. I expect a casual 14 & 8 stat line from him next year.

I think KK's 3pt shot overshadows the other aspects of his game. He's a solid rebounder, but not much of a defensive player or passer.

His D and rebounding has improved a little from what we saw last year, but I don`t feel it`s going to be a breakout.

I`m more looking forward to Iggy a nice sophmore suprise and become a decent star in the game.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting odde23:</div><div class="quote_post">Do you watch basketball? really. That is the most ignorant statement I have seen at JustBBall . . . EVER. Kyle Korver is a great 3 point shooter, and I assume that is what you mean, but if you ignore the other aspects of his game you need to start over completely. Get an instructional video on basketball so you can get a better understanding of the game.</div>
What else does he do? He can rebound averagely at best, his defense is below average even with the slight improvement. He doesnt pass well or penetrate and he isnt a good leader. Just spport your argument with facts or dont argue at all.

As for breakout players, look out for Mike Dunleavy. In the preseason hes been money from downtown. He went 5-8 from the 3pt line against the Suns and scored 30, he also got 7 boards and a block. I'll also add Iggy and TJ Ford to the list.

The comment was that he is the most one dimentional player in the game today. He is actually a good passer. His rebounding is good for his size at his postion. He is not a good defender, but he plays the lanes well on team defense comes up with some huge steals. He has great intangables and high basketball IQ which allows him to make good decisions with the basketball. His shooting is his biggest strength and over-shadows the rest of his game, but in no way is he the MOST one dimentional player in the game today. Not even close.

I'm goin' with Zaza Pachulia, since he should get some good minutes down there in Atlanta. He had a solid end of the preseason too.

The person that I'm looking foward to having a break out year would have to be larry hughes. if you read sports illustrated, they make it seem that if he can mesh with the chosen one, that he will join lebron to form the closest thing the nba has seen to Jordan/Pippen in years. Of course he had a good season last year, but with Lebron and all the talent around him, look for hughes to become that perenial allstar and the SG on the NBA All defensive team.

Totally agree. If he couldn't cut it in the East..you know the rest. The truth is that JO has his mind straight, he doesn't get caught up in the crap Kwame did. It took him a few years, but he worked at it, I'm looking at his stats right now and Kwame hasn't shown much improvement, he hasn't even started over 60 games in his career. I hope he gets better, but let's keep it in reality when talking about him.

Well other than Larry Hughes, im lookin at Raja Bell. He'll be the 6th man for one of the most potent offensive squads in the league. He'll be the front runner for not only 6th man of the year, but also Most improved player. im lookin for bell to average about 15 points and about 5-6 assists.
