Still plenty of basketball to be played. We do have an edge right now, but it's only slight.
I'm sure the Celtics are only a half game behind you guys. Let's not open the champagne yet. Sure you guys are doing good even though you're below .500, but plenty of basketball left.
What are you talking about, Raptors can go to the finals with ease, who is gonna stand in their way, Orlando?
I don't see why it shouldn't still be on, but I don't think the Cs are getting AI. When do we play the Raps next?
The C's probably aren't getting AI, but to be honest, AI changes the whole make-up of the bet. This team would just be on another level. The Raps wouldn't even be a speed bump, and Jersey probably wouldn't be much in the way of a challenge either, so I think we should probably nix it. Nevertheless, no worries, as they aren't getting him as it is.
If Iverson goes to the Celtics I'm not going to participate in the bet. But like AirJordan said, right now, this Bosh is injury is killing us.
Seems to be day-to-day right now, although I could see him out for the a couple of weeks just because of how they rushed his return.
Philly's basically out of it, with the whole A.I. situation. If New York wasn't finished before, they will be after the suspensions. And New Jersey looks old, tired, and disinterested. With the Raps only half a game behind the Celtics, it looks like the division's going to come down to one of us. Hopefully the Calderon injury doesn't mess our little streak too badly. And hopefully Bosh comes back soon, because I wouldn't want this bet to become void. It's starting to get interesting.
The season's still young. We're only a month and a half in. I wouldn't count out anyone yet. After Philly makes the trade they should get back some good players. They might lose a superstar, but they should gain some good role players. New York suspensions shouldn't be as bad as Denver's. And you gotta remember even after the Pacers-Pistons fight, they both made the playoffs that season. However, both Indiana and Detroit were expected to make the playoffs and nobody expected much from the Knicks. And NJ is only a game behind us. As long as they still have Kidd, I'd never count them out.
