If someone said the Raptors are uber better than the Magic then you can say own in response. But CLos aka Raptor Hater got owned.
Haha i noticed how the Celtics fans stop writing in this thread since they stopped winning. Fairweather fans haha, no way Boston is even close to Toronto now
Pierce and Bosh got injured around the same time and it basically took the momentum out of the wager. Now we're just waiting to see if they pass the 20 games limit.
I think the games Bosh missed should also be subtracted from the games Pierce missed, if there is still a 20 game difference then the bet is probably off unless Boston is confident.

The celts are terrible right now, but alot can be said about the injuries, even though the raps have had their share.
The deal has been, since day one, that once either Bosh or Pierce has missed 20 games, then the bet's off. That still may not happen, so I'm going to hold my breath, but at the same time, if it does, that's that. I'm sorry I've missed so much, I've actually been traveling with my family, so my sincerest apologies. But I'm more than ready to jump in and heckle you folks anew. Don't think I actually believe this Raps team would've won the bet were it not for Pierce getting hurt. I don't care about Wally getting hurt, or this team playing with a nine man rotation, if Pierce were playing, things would be different. We'll see how it goes when he returns.
it looks like the deal is probably going to be off now. Pierce's injury isn't getting any better and they say he'll be out for another month.

I don't even care if we make the playoffs and get swept, I would just love to make the playoffs and rub it in all your faces. Therefore, I'm hoping Pierce returns as well and doesn't miss more then 20 games. It will make victory all that much sweeter.
I can't believe how pompous you Raps fans are. You get one whiff of .500 ball for less than a season, and you brag. Jesus. Some of us are used to fielding a team that actually competes, we have a little more in the way of expectations. They say players are supposed to act like they've been there before, I guess the same doesn't go for fans in Canada.
No offense dude, but we've been bragging back and forth the entire season. That's what made this bet fun. Just because it looks like an injury will take you guys out of it, doesn't mean you have to get sensitive all of a sudden.

As for dealing in absolutes about scenarios that will never come to pass, I mean, come on, if you're going to brag, brag about something that exists at least. Sheesh.
<div class="quote_poster">Squishface Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">I mean, come on, if you're going to brag, brag about something that exists at least. Sheesh.</div> Hey guess what, Raptors are ahead of the Celtics and they won't be looking to wait for you to catch up

If it was Boston leading the Atlantic right now and the Raptors were in Boston's position, I'm sure we'd never hear the end of it. Raptors fans have actually been pretty restrained I'd say. I guess I'm just the overly cocky one. Oh by the way, we just blew the Bobcats out of the water, and the Nets and Knicks both lost Winning feels nice, no? Oh.... Sorry. And please spare me from your glorious history of winning championships, if that's what you Celtics fans are gonna resort to. ....By the way, my tone with all this is all in fun and if you can't detect that then there's nothing I can really do about it.
