anyone want to starts bets...whos gonna lose first the Pats, Celts or Sox???...and yes the sox are in the equation because they might be the first to lose a game if both the celts and pats dont lose a game until next years mlb season starts

I hate to rain on your parade, guys, but we really haven't played any good teams yet. 8-0 is great, but I want to see how the Celtics stack up against the other Finals contenders before I bring out the Jordan Bulls comparisons.

Nuggets, Raps, Nets and Heat are good in my book. All playoff teams.

    Even Hawks are good. [IMG]

The Nets are 4-5 now, Atlanta is 3-5, the Heat are 1-8, and the Raptors are 5-4 and it took overtime for the Celtics to beat them. The Nuggets are the only top tier (borderline) team the C's have beat so far, and it was on the second night of a back-to-back for them.

These are all games that the Celts should have won. I'm waiting for us to beat up on some elite teams, and Orlando will be the biggest test of the season so far.

Yea Thrilla, thats a big test tomorrow. (orlando)

But I understand what you're saying, unless we beat Spurs, Mavs, Suns, teams like that, I don't think we have to beat all of them, but if we do even better, but until we do that, our record will mean nothing.

But....its still fun comparing how we'll do versus MJ's Bulls. [IMG]

i dont know if its right to say the celts "should have won" all of these games...so your saying the celts should be undefeated over 2 weeks into the season?? how many people were talking about ooo how are they gonna work together they wont have chemistry yadda yadda yadda...theres no way the celts "should have been" undefeated

I don't think there is a Celtics fan out there that though or knew or predicted that we would be 8-0 at the start. Someone might have said it but only as a joke. We all thought that they'd have a problem gelling and also getting the chemistry out. Then there were questions about the bench.

They have surprised us all. [IMG]

One loss and you're not as good as the Bulls. They're going to have to go 8-1 for their next 9, just to stay on pace for 72.

Yeah, but Nets were struggling, and then they lost Vince, which leads to more struggling.
