I think the Spurs may go for Splitter because they have time and assets to take this pick here.

Hopefully the Spurs don't pick Byars, lets get him in a Sixers uniform.</div>

C.K. we are definitely on the same page right now. I want King to trade into the Spurs 28th spot to guarantee we get Byars. It wouldn't take much cash consideration to move up two spots.

San Antonio would be a perfect place for Splitter.

The Chinese Government and his agents have strictly controlled the draft workouts in the hopes of having him land in a situation where he could succeed (high Asian population, style of play that suits him, good role, etc.). They denied Milwaukee a workout, hoping that it would scare them away. But the Bucks picked him anyways (basically called their bluff) and now the big question is whether or not he shows up. Yi's said that he'll play in the NBA next season, but who knows what happens with the people around him.

I like Yi as a player, but I hate the way the Chinese control their players like that.

This all depends on if San Antonio would really want Splitter because Phoenix may very well pick him up right afterward if they trade down.

Damn, that's just not fair. I wish Toronto had a late first rounder. BC would've took him for sure.

Great pick. The Spurs are amazing at scouting international talent.

YES!!! Can we just buy Phoenix's pick here or something to secure Byars?

Best case scenario would be that Josh McRoberts goes here so that Billy doesn't get tempted by the Duke prospect.

Frig man! That's not even good scouting. It's just about common sense and having the nerve to take a chance. Just not fair...

Dude, with the Splitter pick and likely Scola heading over to compliment one another, this team is going to be even more scary in 08-09.

If King picks McRoberts over Byars I'm starting an anti-King campaign.

The Spurs probably took a couple seconds to make their selections and laughed their asses off the rest of the time.

Nice fit for Alando Tucker. I'm happy for him and Afflalo.

Alright, Philly is on the clock and Byars is still on the board. Pick Byars Billy King. If I don't hear Byars then it better be either Taurean Green, Marcus Williams, or 'Big Baby' Davis, but please Billy pick Byars.

    PICK BYARS!!!!!

I have no faith in King right now, get ready to hear McRoberts. I will be crushed.

AI for McRoberts and Smith. What a rip.

Byars is sitting on a golden platter right in front of Billy. Time to watch King screw up!
