The Presidency is so overrated, Obama will only be considered effective if he continuef to have a Democratic house/senate.

I watched Fred Thompson on Hannity & Colmes last night, he looked half dead and like he wouldn't last through a campaign, not to mention he's old/fat/boring to listen to. What a terrible bunch of candidates the Republicans have this time...yikes... You have a socially liberal womenizing whisper who has lived off 9/11, another old womanizer in Gingrich, A mormon flipflopper who is dying in the polls....it's like the Republicans have given up knowing the country wants a change to the Democratic side.

I have to disagree. I find him very interesting to listen to. He has that certain tone that guys like Ernie Harwell, Paul Harvey, Ronald Regan has/had. It's not a big, booming voice, but rather a voice of wisdom, like a grandfather. He is easy to understand and keeps it to the point. No rambling on about nothing.Old? Who cares. Fat? Again, who cares.I am kind of worried he couldn't take the physical aspect of a campaign, and that's something he's still taking careful consideration with.

LOL, I'm loving mike Gavell."I'm scared of these people!" - Mike Gavell"right on guy we've never seen or heard of before. Gavell is a former senator, and by former I mean he left the senate in 1981, to give you context, I was your age back then. But Gavell has a strong background, Graduating along with other Alaskan Senators from "Wild Coot school of diplomacy and prospectin'" - John Stewart

You have an Albany avatar, a JaMarcus Russell sig, the Yankees record, and a Texas player(Aaron Ross). What the hell, man? Though you are one of my fav posters :happy0144:</div>lol the russell sig I made just because I liked the pic and I was half asleep when I did it...the albany avatar was a friend of mine who got drafted by philly, and the giants / yankees are my favorite football and baseball teams. lol. I agree with Rudy G being the favorite republican in the public's eye, but not really the best true republican. You can interchange Obama/Hillary because they are so close. General America still doesn't know much about Thompson.

Since I am a Thompson homer, well, you can figure it out.

... And your point is?He's in third place mostly. In some he's in 2nd, in some he's in fourth. I listed the top 3 candidates.
