Anyone picking IU is insane. I'm not even sure they'll finish top 3 in the Big 10. MSU is definitely better, with Illinois, tOSU, and Wisconsin as strong teams. Purdue is no slouch either. EG is good, DJ White is good, but overrated (guy can't rebound) but they lost Ratliff to academic troubles, and well...Sampson had stronger talent in OU and didn't do anything with it.
As for my picks,
UNC, G-Town, Memphis, UCLA.

QUOTE (starman85)

Kansas - I like the job Self is going in Lawrence. He's got a good group together, and while they probably won't be a #1 seed, I think they'll make noise in March.

What is there to like? A bunch of lottery talent that goes no where. Last years' team should've gone to the Final Four but almost lost to the Salukies and couldn't beat a weaker UCLA team. Seasons prior they lost to Bucknell and Bradley in the first round. I'm sorry, but Self, for the great recruiter he is, is a horrible coach. If I'm a JayHawk fan, I'd be on close watch for him. He can bring all the talent in the world, but if he can't coach them, forget it.
