No, he played almost exclusively C last season.

To add to my previous post, opposing C's had a 17.9 PER against Camby

Nazr Mohammed's and Ryan Hollins combined 32 mpg at C. To me that shows Okafor probably played the remaining 16 mpg at C, and the remaining 17 mpg he played out of a total 33 mpg at PF. Refuting your comment he almost exclusively played at C last season.

Either way he is not a center on my team.

I wont judge the teams until next season is over, then we will truly know who the winner really is.

62% of the team's total minutes at C
    5% at PF

Gerald Wallace was their PF last season.

Mohammed played 17% of the team's minutes at PF, 18% at C.

Hollins played 7% of the team's minutes at C.

Well that proves me wrong. Although Okafors PER from opponent PF's was 16.4 which is the position he will play for my team.

His PER as a PF was 20.5 too btw

Gerald Wallace: More Small Forward in Future

Update: Bobcats coach Sam Vincent said he may keep Wallace (concussion) at small forward instead of forcing him to play the more rugged power forward position when he returns next week, the Charlotte Observer reports.

Analysis: "If you're playing the 4 (power forward), you're going to get hit," Vincent said. "So we may keep him down on the 3 (small forward) more." That's a wise move to protect a valuable asset like Wallace.

Don't get me wrong. I think Okafor is a hell of a good player. He's got a very good offensive game in the post, which is under-utilized on the Bobcats. I was shocked nobody picked him for as long as he was available, and was salivating at the chance he'd fall to me.

I don't think the Heat would have won without them. They certainly wouldn't have gotten past the Bulls; he was clearly the difference. And he absolutely played like a smart player. The Heat clearly benefited from having THREE players who were THE MAN on NBA teams: Shaq, Wade, and Walker.
    </div>
That doesnt mean Walker's bball IQ is high. That just means he was a vital role player.

I wouldn't confuse his IQ with his lack of ability to stay away from Taco Bell.

He really ate himself out of the league. Otherwise, he was a point power forward for years with the Celtics, including teams that made playoffs. He left the Celtics for another contender. He left Dallas and won a championship.

I don't think you play a new position, point power forward, if you have a low basketball IQ. Nor do I think you score 25+, grab near 10 boards, and dish out 6 assists per game in doing so if you don't have a good IQ.
