I'm a Liverpool fan, so obviously, fuck the mancs, go Barca, etc...

Plus, Messi is just magic to watch and I don't even care how gay that sounds.

Oh shit, I thought this was a, "Who do you think will win?" poll. I think United will win it, but I'm for Barca.

Anyone know of a site where one can stream the game for free? I don't think it's being shown on any DirecTV channel that I get.

It's going to be on ESPN. 11:30 a.m. Pacific Time. You should be able to get the free feed on ESPN360.com as well.

Ah okay, thanks. When I searched for "soccer" in the DirecTV system, only 2010 World Cup qualifiers and international friendlies came up.

So i dont care too much about soccer/football but I have a question for the people who know....Which team has better talent, the best club team in the world or the best country's team in the world cup?

United all the way, but I had a dream last night that Barca would win 3-1. That had better not happen, especially with the way the Cavs came up just short last night. Can't take too much disappointment in 12 hours.

Based on recent results, the best international team is Spain. The best club team is ManU. Liverpool beat ManU both times they played in the Premiership this past season, and Spain is essentially a superior version of that team, with five common players plus several superstars. ManU's coaching is better and their gameplan would probably be better, but I think Spain wins based on speed, class, and chemistry.

I'd say clubs have more talent than the international teams.

Generally the best club team, because there's no salary cap, so the richest teams can buy up a lot of stars, from around the world. But some nations produce a lot of stars, so a Brazilian or Spanish or Italian national team can be pretty loaded as well.

I'm honestly thinking of going home sick to watch it. I'm not like an avid follower of Soccer, more because I cant figure out where to watch it. But I think its a wonderful sport, a thing of beauty when played. I go NUTS during the world cup though. Where do most of you guys watch this stuff?

Had to be crushing. Man U had some great attacks and got nothing. Then Barca's first real attack of the game and bang.

    Go Barca.

Nearly cried when that ball went in the net. Frik I love Messi. He has that burst of speed where he is in the middle of defenders and just shoots out of it.
