92 - Some stuff happened and Spain appealed for any one of three penalties. I was returning from an offside position in the bathroom and missed it. Replays didn't make it look like a penalty should have been given, but if it was, I wouldn't have been too surprised by it.
95 - Iniesta springs Fabregas in on Stekelenberg, Villa makes a run wide for a pass. Fabregas was thinking shot all the way, but should have passed as Villa was in space. 96 - Quick counter leads to a corner for Holland. Ramos loses track of Mathijsen, but his header is powered high. That had to be finished there. 97 - Van Bommel Van Bommels Xavi.
99 - Fabregas sends in Iniesta, but Iniesta delays the shot and its cut out by Van Bronckhorst. I think Iniesta may have been waiting for an invitation...not sure who it would have been from. 100 - Van Der Vaart comes in for De Jong's black belt.
101 - Jesus Navas' creepy eyes got wide as he saw a chance at goal. Strong shot was deflected into the side of the net by Van Bronckhorst.
That's a bit harsh. Iniesta didn't have a good angle to pass as Gio was playing for it all the way. He had to shoot, but didn't.
104 - Fabregas with an absurd run through about five Dutch defenders down the middle of the pitch, but the shot goes wide.
105 - Last substitution for the Dutch. Edison Braafeid will come in and Giovanni Van Bronckhorst comes out, bringing a close to his football career.
Spain sucks so bad Here are teams that could have beaten them easily: Brasil, Argentina, Portugal, Italy, France, even Germany if they had played again. GO HOLLAND!!!!
And there's an end to the first 15 of extra time. Spain had the best chances of the match in this half. If its going to end before penalties, Spain is going to win it.
We must be watching different matches. I haven't seen Holland do much of anything to threaten Casillas. The match is on ABC, just so you know. You should take a look at it.
Fernando Torres is coming on for David Villa. I question the choice. Villa hasn't been threatening, but Fernando Torres has been playing like an American forward in the World Cup thus far.
107 - A Spanish cross finds the back of Braafheid's head as he apparently lost all sight of it. It ended up safely with Stekelenberg.
