I think Bigelow's film is definitely more eye popping to me, dude has shown elite speed. Hopefully for him his surgeries are successful and he still has it... pretty likely thats the reigning medical opinion or Cal and Oregon (among others) wouldn't be offering him. It wouldn't be the first time I'm wrong, but Tra looks like a quality backup to the guys listed above to me. I'm glad he seems to be coming on board but just judging from the clips I've seen I'd rather have a healthy Dontae Williams in power/short yardage running situations as I prefer the sort of explosive bounce he has to the more lumbering style of Carson. Nothing wrong with a quality backup though and I'm stoked that they seem to be building a Texas RB tradition. STOMP
good read on some O-Line commits. 2 Already committed Ducks are mentioned.. and hopefully one will de-commit from Texas with the shakeups going on there http://sports.espn.go.com/ncaa/recruiting/football/news/story?id=5922203 The next is about the player currently a Texas Commit.
read over on DT board that the Ducks get an in home with Moala in January. Wont get my hopes up but he would be a huge get
dude hasn't visited Oregon as far as I'm aware and has shown tepid Duck interest all along with Cal (his local school) being a clear leader. I'm actually more interested and optimistic about pretty much every other DT they're known to be going after. as a side note, Mo Latu is rumored to have academic issues that may force him to go the JC route STOMP
the DT who's tape really impressed me is Simmons. He's extremely quick/athletic for a guy so big... he'd give Aliotti options on mixing things up (ie zone blitzes). Simmons + Shelton added to Ebert would work STOMP
It would especially be great to get both those guys given that Heimuli is said to be making his decision whether or not to go on his mission here soon. I hope he stays, but don't want to be selfish, and hope he's happy with whatever he chooses.
Lyerla kicked out of his Official Visit with UCLA??? Obviously I cant tell how true or what this is. http://www.wildwestsports.com/Discu...t/View/1069424/colt-lyerla-kicked-out-of-ucla
It appears prep 4* Ja'Juan Story is here in Eugene visiting Oregon. There have been rumors that Story is going to decommit from Florida since Urban Meyer is no longer there. Guy is fast and big. Runs a reported 4.4 forty and is 6-3 190 pounds.
the quote I read from him earlier this year is that "NFL stands for not for long". I can't imagine dude's stock is going to get much higher as he'll always have the size/durability questions, so time to start cashing in on the limited snaps he has left. I'd venture a guess that he's a 2-3rd round pick and will be a 3rd down back/kick returner STOMP
hmmm... nothing on rivals about him visiting now or in the future, but there has been chatter about him for the last few weeks including that multiple Duck coaches have stopped by his school to visit. Story's HS coach stated that Oregon has been pursuing him the most aggressively of any school since Meyer stepped down at Florida. He'd obviously be a huge get STOMP
I found out about it here. http://oregon.247sports.com/Board/45/BREAKING-Is-JuJuan-Story-visiting-Oregon-543986/1
sometimes yeah, if a kid has used all his Official Visits and all that. Bridgewater has been rumored to Louiville for a couple weeks though.
Some guy on DT is saying that Marqise Lee is a silent SC commit and is waiting to the UA game to announce. He says, that multiple sources close to Lee have confirmed this.
how many spots does USC really have left? They have zero depth on the OL... none and lots of great WRs. I'd almost welcome them getting Lee because it would leave them so thin in the trenches STOMP
Rumors that wallace might be visiting Arkansas even though he is a solid UO commit. His friend committed to Arkansas. No link.
Apparently 3*WR B.J. Kelly is taking an official visit to Oregon this weekend and Matt from DT thinks he will commit shortly after. http://oregon.247sports.com/Board/45/Receiver-sets-official-visit-to-Oregon-574039/1 Even though you can't read his posts, the messages below indicate that it's B.J. Kelley who's visiting.
