an athlete's educational experience at a school is quite a bit different then a normal students. On one hand they've got practice taking large chunks out of their day. On the other they've got special facilities, tutors, etc... assisting them to make best use of the free time they have. While Oregon isn't one of the elite colleges (like Stanford) in the quality of the education for the general population, I'm guessing it's a much more level playing field for the athletes who are serious about their studies On the Farmer video, I thought he seemed very bright and that he truly enjoyed his experience last weekend. Certainly he's much more reserved then Blackmon and is continuing to play his recruitment cards close to the vest with each of his potential schools. I hope he makes the best decision for his future STOMP
You mean I Started something I didn't fail at?!?! jk this thread is taking off cause everyone is involved
Oregon commits and prospects playing in the upcoming All Star games Under Armour All-American Game US Army All-American Bowl Commits WR Tacoi Sumler- UA OL Tyler Johnstone- Army OL Andre Yruretagoyena UA Prospects: Army WR George Farmer TE Christian French DT Viliami Moala DE Brennan Scarlett LB Lamar Dawson LB Jason Gibson S Avery Walls ATH Colt Lyerla Prospects: Under Armour WR Devon Blackmon DE Todd Barr DT Kevin McReynolds LB Anthony Wallace ATH Marqise Lee
of the All-Star games prospects I'm probably most sure of Wallace. Blackmon seems to really enjoy attention and may just be stirring the pot to have fun. Oregon was his first OV and he's scheduled for several more... lets see how he acts/twitters after the next one STOMP
I wouldnt worry about it too much. Scout is one of the more fickle of the recruiting services IMO. Its just much more accessible lol.
