As much as some people may hate this idea, it's a good one IF we miss out on Nash, Williams, Dragic (or any other top PG I'm spacing out on). Miller as a backup to a young PG we draft would be great, ESPECIALLY if it's Marshall. Imagine Miller teaching Marshall a thing or two about alley-oops on top of Marshall's already great distributing. I'd love to see Aldridge, etc. getting more easy buckets like that.
Not a bad idea. When Miller was here, LMA was the top what? One or two in the NBA with the lob/dunk combo. After Miller goes away...well, did he even hit mid pack? Doubt it..
I don't understand this logic at all; if the Warriors hadn't signed Brown they would've been under the cap and could've done a lopsided salary trade. That salary savings would be much more valuable in a trade then an expiring contract.
Yes I would be interested in bringing him in if the price is right for a 1 year contract. That is if we strike out on the top free agents we could hire some of these 1 year pieces and try again for free agents the following off-season. If the team struggles dump the vets at the trade deadline again and tank for the lotto. If the team is in the playoff hunt then the signings probably worked out well.
I'd look at a veteran backup PG. The second unit is going to be young and need all the help they can get. Maybe DJ Augustin?

HOOPSWORLD @HOOPSWORLD NBA AM: Is Jameer Nelson Opting Out?: Magic guard Jameer Nelson has one more day to decide if he's opting out......http://www.hoopsworld.com/nba-am-is...out&utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter
His PER has been right around 15.00 for his entire career, with spikes to 20ish a couple of times. He might make a really good back up, or fall back plan at PG
Thanks for the link. In that article: Perry Jones III: Baylor stand out Perry Jones III is a freak athlete, but the growing buzz on PJIII is he will tumble on draft night. More and more teams doubt what Jones will be at the next level and with more and more teams comparing him to Wolves; forward Anthony Randolph, his stock looks poised to tumble. There is a phrase that continues to get mentioned with most teams in the lottery portion of the draft and that’s “risk adverse”, meaning those teams may pass on real upside players because they cannot risk being wrong in such a deep draft. PJII’s best bet for an early draft pick is the teams with two lottery selections like Portland, New Orleans and Houston who could gamble on PJIII’s potential, however it just doesn’t seem like that’s going to happen. Last year Nuggets forward Jordan Hamilton was viewed as a can’t miss talent. He slid to the 26th pick before his upside outweighed his risk. The same fate seems to be in store for PJII
