The thinking here is to decide who the Blazers would pick at the currently-polled spot. Pick based on the current roster, even if it's unrealistic that the team could move up without making changes. If the guy you'd prefer isn't listed, vote for "other" and comment on who you'd pick. Ideally I'll change the options, although I don't anticipate too many "others" winning.

I plan on having each pick up for a day or two. Ideally, we'll end up with the community's "top 11" list, in order of preference, just in time for the draft on June 28.

    Previous picks:

    1: Anthony Davis
    2: Thomas Robinson
    3: Michael Kidd-Gilchrist
    4. Andre Drummond

I chose Barnes b/c he did much better at workouts/combine than expected, and b/c he's a heady player who's been a focus of defenses for two years.

I wouldn't be getting the pitchforks and torches out if we took Beal, but he's both the riskiest (imho) of the Tier Two guys and the one where we could get comparable value later on (Ross, Rivers)

From what I've read, this is a tough choice and some team will have to make it - and likely get it wrong. This draft is pretty tough, but all 3 players are in the same tier. I went for Beal for no other real reason other than conventional wisdom (which seems to be changing).

BPA in the last poll was Beal

    Beal in a landslide.

I don't particularly love Barnes or Beal, but I picked Barnes. I think he has more upside.

Somebody who wanted to pick Beal should be a good guy and pick Barnes to even it out.

Barnes. He has the size to play either wing spot. Him and Batum would be awesome out there. Beal just doesn't excite me as much.

Barnes has been one of the top draft prospect for this class for years, he was at one point a favorite to be the #1 pick. Has he lost any talent from that time? No not at all. He just isn't the exciting new flavor of the week. I often look at who has been highly regarded over the long-term, not just who has shot up the draft board the last couple months. The guys who jump way up the draft rankings are much more likely to quickly drop way way down.

Seeing as how he almost was the 4th pick, I am guessing Beal will crush this, but I went with Barnes

Beal, while Barnes may be more ready to contribute next season, I think Beal has a higher ceiling. I've got questions about how good of a pro Barnes will turn out to be.

I can't wait to see how Barnes plays in the pros. So many different viewpoints on him. LOL even some from the same poster. :smiley-whistle:

    Thank you.

I might care too much about measureables, but I really like the idea of Batum being a tall SG, with Barnes or someone else at SF.

I am actually beginning to come around to the idea that Barnes may be the 3rd best player in this draft...I do like Beal a lot for POR though
