Read Olshey's "denial" from that article:

Anybody see the word "no" in there?

He could have just said no, but some people still would not have believed him. I think by trying to be logical he was more effective.

Nah. Lillard may never be a "star", but I seriously doubt he is a Thabeet level disaster. At least there seem to be no questions about Lillards motivation/work ethic.

So he'll at least get to the Randy Foye/Johhny Flynn level.

I'd love to see the Blazers go into full re-build mode and get 3 first round draft choices. If Houston (14 & 16) and Golden State (30) are really trying to move their first round picks, I wonder what it would take. We don't have many assets to trade with.

How many guys, a year out of HS and not yet schooled by NBA coaches, are prepared to guard a crafty vet? Of course, last time we saw Roy on the court, he was pretty easy to guard.

rice is crazy on were guys go in the draft. I can see us pass on Drummond, I don't agree but I can see it. Your either gonna get the steal of the draft or the bust of the draft with Drummond

I'm not looking for conspiracy theories, I'm just saying that there is nothing concrete in his answer, which leaves wiggle room ... hell, if he hadn't laughed before responding to JQ's question, we'd all be talking about how explicit he was and how he was able to be so persuasive in such a short amount of time.

It's pretty obvious who Rice likes in this draft:

    -Robinson
    -Kidd-Gilchrist
    -Beal

Fez and Rice see eye to eye on this one.

Well Rice is an alcoholic, so I'm not sure I'd brag about that?

Mickey Mantle was an alcoholic and was one of the best sluggers of all-time. Just because you can't handle your booze doesn't mean everyone else can't.

    Happy Fathers Day :)

I was just saying that at #6 if he had to choose from Lillard and Drummond he says NO WAY to the 7' footer! Which surprises me because they always say you can't teach size. In spite of this and him being a coach, he STILL wants Lillard. He watched both workouts and he is still that one sided after watching........ Drummond must really be Thabeet Part II!

Was Drummond really that bad in his workout?

Rice usually is never this adamant against a prospect.
