I don't see this happening. Zeller would be solid if it was about competing next year. But, we are acquiring assets, and he is not really that kind of player.
Guys on 1080 also said Terrence Ross looked really good And that Marshall shot 2/30 on jumpers (I think 3pt shots)
Like Rajon Rondo with two 30 lbs sand bags strapped to his body. Or like Andre Miller after getting hit by a truck and forgetting all his pet moves in the post.
I guess some people are high on Will Barton. He seems intriguing, extremely long, a passable jumper. But, I watched a ton of Memphis games this year and he never really did anything to standout. I generally don't like guys like that.
Look at Kawhi Leonard. 25% from 3 in college. 38% his rookie year. Easily improvable. Especially since scouting reports say he's money from 20 feet.
He is definitely more of a slasher/inside guy. He has range out to about 21 feet right now, but I think that will expand. Will never be a deep shooting threat like Batum.
Doesn't surprise me at all. I am hoping like crazy our super secret workout today is Robinson, and that we can move up to get him. I think he will end up as best player from this draft
If I were Washington, I think I'd consider trading down with Sacramento/Portland and drafting Lillard. I think John Wall is Dwyane Wade more than he's a PG, and if he's paired with a PG with a pure shot, that could be a dynamite combination. Of course, that might be the idea with Beal, too.
