Well, they are in the lotto. And our #6 did come courtesy of NJ via trade everyone but NJ itself questions publicly.
Man...... were we lucky we got this pick from jersey or what? Wouldn't be as excited about next season if we just had #11.

I just have a feeling that anybody that is credible enough to actually HAVE a source wouldn't go posting info from said source on a forum.
I think it depends. I mean my buddy, Randy Bodek, isn't associated at all with the team, but a good source for players in the league. Another friend of mine, (deal coming soon guy), works for the league office in a very unimportant, yet knowledgable area. He will say stuff like "hey, I heard so and so and such and such are talking deal. Looks like it's almost done" or whatever.
People don't really have sources. Its a ploy to make them feel important, so they make shit up, or read an idea somewhere and throw it to the wall and hope it sticks. Its been a big thing to do on message boards for years. Sure, there's those rare occasions where someone actually does know something. But, an intern, or some other shlub isn't going to have any more information than the next guy. The only people who really know whats going on are agents and front office guys. I doubt many front office execs spill the beans in the break room about trades and such. It does make interesting dialogue on here though.
Drummond is one of those types that could boom or bust. He's got Dwight Howard like athletisism, but Meyers Leonard seems to be a safer bet. There is so much to like about Leonard, great size, very athletic, good jump shot. He's like a 7-1 LaMarcus Aldridge. I"m not sure how well he'd play with LA though, a defensive banger like Drummond is more what we need.
