well IMO ALL have flaws and it's a crapshoot, and one that is not worth taking, lets draft our 2 picks at 6 and 11 unless we get an offer we cannot refuse. IMO being the team that gets offers for picks from other teams that are in love with a player is the much smarter position to take

Orlando said they are not wanting to rebuild, but reload. I agree with you though and would want my team to rebuild

I keep hearing Bradley Beal is a Ray Allen type shooter. He shot 34% from the college 3 - in 16 years Ray Allen has never shot 34% from 3

The Bulls have privately assured Luol Deng that there's "no chance" of a deal sending him to the Warriors, league source tells Y!

    Possibly draft related

Just for giggles, anyone compare PJIII to Aldridge at their respective combines?

    PJII first; Aldridge second

    Height: 6'11.25"; 6'11.25"
    Weight: 234; 234
    Wing: 7'2"; 7'5"
    Reach: 8'11"; 9'2"
    jump: 33"; 26"
    running jump: 39"; 34"
    bench: 11; 8
    agility: 11.31; 12.02
    sprint: 3.19; 3.43
    body fat: 4.6; 8.7 (wow)

So, compared to LMA, PJIII has shorter arms, is stronger, leaner, jumps much higher, is more agile, and runs the sprint much faster. This surprised me.

Doubt it RT @Bairdy1611: there is talk over at hoopsworld that Blazers are now potentially thinking of taking Rivers @ 6. Surely not

Why? PJ III is an athletic freak.

They are very different players. Lillard is a much more efficient scorer. I think Rivers has some really fantastic skills, but he's a loose canon right now with how he uses them. If he can get it under control he could be great. If not, he will be Monta Ellis with a larger black hole.

Yeah that was my first thought when I heard of them moving down to 4. I’d love for us to be guaranteed one of Robinson, Barnes, MKG.

Drummond would be great if this was the 2005 Blazers, but I don’t want to wait 4 years for him to develop when we have an all-star. Lillard is clearly in a tier below the top5 prospects so we should definitely move up if the price isn’t too steep.

Aldridge is fast getting down the court, and PJIII's numbers are much better. I would have expected them to be closer.

I think this is all smoke to get Rivers up higher so more drops to Portland at 11.

If this kid wanted to play PF, he would be a top 5 pick

Love Rivers Pedigree, but can't help but think he's ceiling is Jamal Crawford. Not that that's a bad thing, I just prefer players who can pass. B-Roy drove me crazy because he had the chance to be great at assisting, but never fully realized it.
