That's why I say it's a struggle. If T-Rob, MKG, or Beal are at #6 (all unlikely), I'd take one of those over Lillard. Barnes, maybe. Drummond, I'm more leaning towards Lillard.

    A couple things:

    Leonard > Zeller...Easily.

I'd rather pick up a later pick and take Plumlee over Zeller.

The thing that doesn't make me worry so much about Lillard is he seems to get "it". Seems like a good dude that could be very coachable, and not just a guy that will pout if he's asked to do more than just score (cough Jamal Crawford cough).

I can see your point on trying to get him at 11, but if you like him enough, it's a little risky to take that chance.

The Blazers should take who they have on the top of their board of who's available at #6.

    Could be Lillard

    Could be Drummond

IF the Blazers bought a later pick, what about Moultrie?

I am hoping Plumlee lands with the Blazers, as well as younger brother Mason, next year

Ha! We actually agree on something. His upside alone is why you take him over Zeller. Though, he looks like he's going to be a very good weakside shotblocker his post defense is a long way away.

In the early 40's he's likely to be there but I think you package these picks to move up a little for Crowder.

Agreed. And it's pretty clear that Lillard WANTS to be in Portland. There's something to be said for that. His work ethic and drive will keep him becoming a bust. Can't say whether or not he'll be an all-star, but he has enough in him to avoid the bust label.

I agree. I highly doubt Lillard will still be available at #11.

I like Lillards chances at being a big impact player over MKG, Beal, Barnes, or Drummond.

Harkless is looking like he is going to go in the lottery,an outside chance he may even go top 10....

Depending on what SAC or HOU? does at #5...there is a chance one of Robinson, MKG or Barnes is there at #6...

If they were not, I would rather see POR take Rivers or Waiters at #6.....

It's hard not to like Lillard's confidence and drive. And the thing is.... these guards who have his type of marketability and personality.... I hate to say that it contributes to their on-court performance, but it takes a certain type of player to be so well-rounded and have that personality and off-court persona, which he seems to have. I'm really not trying to talk him up, but some of the videos I've seen (LicensetoLillard, various interviews, etc).... There's something to be said for that.

The more I watch Lillard, the more I think of a prime Gilbert Arenas with more size and less of a bonehead.

    Yes, please.

I will be really disappointed if he's available and we take Waiters or Rivers over him.

If we leave Lillard on the board to take Waiters, I will genuinely be pissed. I know we don't have the full books on all these guys, but this is about as obvious as it gets.

I don't get why we'd take Rivers over Lillard. Of Lillard, Waiters, and Rivers, Rivers is the one I most expect to be available at #11.

On what Lillard wants to improve on..."My defense, I'm from Oakland, in Oakland we lock people up, thats what we do".
