Jonathan Givony @DraftExpress Using Synergy Situational Stats to compare the draft's best wing prospects: http://www.draftexpress.com/article/Situational-Statistics-the-2012-Wing-Crop-4001 (MKG, Barnes, Lamb, Ross, etc)
At this point, I probably would. The way this is shaping up, the guys drafted at 16&18 could be as good as the guy drafted at #6! If there is no difference in quality - then go for quantity.
I think you'd have to consider the draft a success if you ended up with Dummond #6, Marshall#14, White, PJ III, Moultrie, Jones or Harkless at #16....wouldn't you?
Definitely. If you can get someone at 6, then move down from 11 to nab any two of the joneses, marshall, zeller, moultrie, harkless, ross, sullinger, leonard id probably do it.
Freudian slip? I don't mind HOU moving up to 5 if they're taking Drummond, Lillard or anyone else who leaves MKG and/or Robinson available. I'd much rather have 14 and 16 or 14 and 18 than 11 alone, but I haven't seen that as something available.
No slip. I like Drummond. If he is there at #6, I hope we gamble on him and then move up a couple spots from #11 to get Lillard
Its looking like two of.those guys fall to 20, 21. So if rivers is there at 11, does boston want him?
I don't think they do. At least Doc. Not sure he would want to coach his son in that way. Maybe if it were a FA signing or something, but not a top lottery type pick
Sam Amick @sam_amick On what the Houston-Minnesota trade means for Rockets' Dwight Howard pursuit, & the Kings' quandary that plays a part - http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/20...draft-chase-budinger/index.html?sct=nba_t2_a3
Ric Bucher @RicBucher FWIW: Multiple sources shooting down Rockets-Kings talk about Lowry + picks for Tyreke + No. 5. But Rockets are interested in No. 5.
Sports Biz Radio @SBRadio 80% of listeners yesterday said no to a Lowry + #16 for Blazers #6 pick. Blazers fans: Would you trade the #6 pick for Sac's Tyreke Evans?
Looking more and more like Portland will have multiple firsts with Freeland and Claver coming over Trade fodder?
Olshey's definitely doing a good job of amassing pieces. He's calling in all the puzzle pieces he can to PDX, seeing if they fit, and will trade them if they don't. Smart moves to get a real accounting of our assets.
6 ft 6in guard that has proven hisplay in the NBA vs whatever unproven guard that others here would otherwise draft? FK yeah I would jump on that like beerboy on HCPs wife.
