That would be a very good draft IMO as well

That's the caveat for me. If Thomas Robinson measures 6'10" in shoes and has reach, I'd do whatever it took to get him at #2. If he's 6'7" with stubby arms, he's Corliss Williamson.

This team would be so much better off with a good scorer in the post. That's why Robinson could be a great get for this team.

Only if he has legit PF size, though. Otherwise you get DeJuan Blair. Good in the post, but too undersized to be an elite player because that size gets exploited and is limiting to some degree.

At some point Drummond maybe as well. I also think Moultrie has the ability to put on a lot of weight on his frame and could be that guy also

Does he need to be elite? I guess the concern is whether Aldridge would accept a move to center.

You're not concerned with the comments about his "motor" or drive?

Legit question.... To be honest, I don't know a lot about PJ3. The few times I really watched him, he looked legit - I would have expected him to go higher. But then I hear people questioning his commitment, and that makes me a bit nervous (especially given some of the people we've had in the past with questionable drive).

Ross has decent size for a SG, and can create his own shot. I think SG is going to be his NBA position, and I think he'll be a solid starter.

I am, and I've posted about it before. It is definitely a concern, but he's such an athlete that's it's tough to ignore the potential. At #6, if you miss on a player, you may as well miss on a player who is an athlete.

The last thing we need is another Darius Miles. Someone who has off-the-charts athleticism that has carried them up to this point. Darius has the potential to be so much better than he was, but he didn't have the desire or the drive to get it done. Why be the best when you can put in half the work and get paid on potential? PJIII scares me because he sounds somewhat like that.

This must be a deep draft because it seems like every mock I've seen is completely different regarding picks 2 thru 14. It's abundantly clear we will need someone very adept at evaluating players.

Yeah, Drummond and Lillard would be an excellent draft for us.

PJ3 may very well be around at No. 11. I'd be more excited about him at No. 11 than 6.

I also like Robinson and Ross. I'm easy to please this year. :) It would be sweet to trade for another pick high enough to snag Ross.

Drummond at 6 and Lillard, Ross, or PJ3 at 11 would be nice.

Or, depending on workouts, Ross/Lillard/PJ3 at 6, and Zeller at 11. As somebody else just posted, the 2-14 slots are almost interchangeable at this point. That's a rarity at this stage, and I really can't think of a draft that was such a mystery.

I was thinking the same thing! There really isn't anybody I am totally against. I was opposed to Drummond, but not as much anymore.
