Chris Haynes @ChrisBHaynes Chicago Pre-Draft: UNC G Harrison Barnes says he has mtg scheduled w/ #Blazers tomorrow. Says he hopes 2 be in top 60. Likely a top 4 pick..
Saw this. Don't think he lasts to #6. But if he does.... if I'm NJ, I'd have rather had Barnes than an aging G-Dub. So why again did they make that trade?
NBA Guru @NBAGuru There isn't a string bean among this group of centers. Meyers Leonard and Festus Ezeli look like they could be at a boxing gym.
Same. It seems like there are 6 players that nearly every mock has comprising the Top-6 (Davis, MKG, TRob, Barnes, Beal, and Drummond). So, assuming we don't trade the picks, do we just go with the one player of this 6 that's available at No. 6? I can't see more than 1 of the above 6 available to us at No. 6. Or do we go after Lillard? The next 3 weeks will be killer. Ughh...
I'm OK with T-Rob's measurements just as long as his reach is at least 9'0"... Can't wait to see Drummonds' -- he could be a legit 7'0" w/
Gery Woelfel @GeryWoelfel Washington's Terrence Ross has Bucks on his workout sked. Excellent size for sg: 6-71/2 with shoes. Makes him more intriguing
I do too. Which is why I said "assuming we don't trade the picks". I just don't know who we could trade the picks for that would actually excite me, or at least would seem like a good deal. I like Lowry. I'd deal #11 and something for him. But I'd rather keep the #6 than deal it for Lowry.
Jeff Goodman @GoodmanCBS Austin Rivers said he was measured at 6-5 with shoes. Good size for NBA two-guard.
I was thinking the same thing. It's big enough people won't call him a tweener (like Beal) or a short SG. But I'd like my SG's to be at least 6'6" or 6'7" (of course, the taller the better).
wll compared to the other "great prospects " at the guard position, the guy is a giant , can shoot ,hmm ok so many of the cant miss guys are short, cant shoot, cant create a shoot with out a screen, cant pass gas..bah, Rivers does nothing for me as well.
