    I read something like Barca's £35m bid would be £25m with the other £10m being incentive laden for things like appearances... not sure I would like that.

    They just spent what, £32m on Sanchez in a similar type of deal? £35m on 28-year old Villa last season?

    ****s, the lot of them. They feel entitled to Cesc and at this point I can see Arsenal not selling on principle alone.

    I could see it too... but do we want a Captain whose heart isnt here(there)? Cesc could turn into a longer deal with Samir, and someone to fortify the backline

    Arsene Wenger will sell Fabregas & Nasri if the teams (Barca & MCity) match our valuation. Not really new news but it seems Barca are going to put up the 35m in full and City somewhere in the low 20s. Both bargains.

    Juan Mata still on our radar but a possible buyout clause could stand in the way.

    Wenger insists we have too many players and that multiple signings won't fix the team. Sigh...

    Can't believe we are going to be fielding a much weaker team this season opener rather than a bolstered one. The team we had last season minus our two best midfield creators and our left back.

    At least we signed a bunch of teenagers!

    Shakhtar Donetsk head coach Mircea Lucescu claims Arsenal want Brazil international midfielder Jadson. The two clubs have reportedly agreed to a transfer and salary is the last hurdle.

    Arsenal are expected to make a renewed bid for Everton centre-half Phil Jagielka this week, with the London club set to lose both Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri to Barcelona and Manchester City respectively.

    The Gunners could also move for Sochaux midfielder Marvin Martin and Marseille winger Andre Ayew as soon as they receive the first payment from the sale of Fabregas.

    Don't quite understand why we're looking at another diminutive midfielder, and an older one at that.

    Maybe if you weren't dicking us around, not playing, and threatening to go to Cash City the fans would be supporting you?

    Arsenal midfielder Samir Nasri is close to joining Man City and claims £23m deal is 'nearly done'

    Lille have put a £26m price tag on Eden Hazard as Arsenal step up their pursuit of the Belgian midfielder, according to reports in France.

    Arsenal are monitoring Wolves striker Kevin Doyle as a possible replacement for Nicklas Bendtner, should the Denmark international leave the Emirates.

    And Paris Saint-Germain have also enquired about Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner. The Gunners want £11m for the 23-year-old.

    Samir Nasri to Manchester City for £25m is considered an inevitability with Nasri offered £200,000/week plus a £5m sign-on bonus to go along with other incentives.

    Chelsea have had a £22m bid for Valencia winger Juan Mata rejected by the Spanish club.

    West Bromwich Albion striker Peter Odemwingie has alerted Arsenal and Tottenham to his availability by declaring he would only quit the Baggies for a "top club".

    Arsenal are holding meetings with Lazio striker Mauro Zarate, according to the player's agent and brother.

    Arsenal are reportedly preparing to revive their interest in Werder Bremen defender Per Mertesacker.

    Shakhtar Donetsk forward Willian has opened the door to a transfer to Chelsea, Arsenal or Tottenham, saying that he would love a move to England's capital.

    Arsenal are mulling over a move for Everton midfielder Mikel Arteta as a short-term replacement replacement for fellow Spaniard Cesc Fabregas, who joined Barcelona in a £35m move earlier in August. Arsenal could raid cash-strapped Everton for Phil Jagielka and Leighton Baines as well.

    Arsenal are also set to reignite their interest in France midfielder Yann M'Vila.
