As always Stomp your insults and the lack of mod support on this board is why this board isn't used to often! Bang up Job! When Stomp is your only poster you'll know why!
Wheels, if you're a kid who's focused on playing a particular type of offense and your coach splits, it does make a difference! You came to that school to play that certain way to utilize your skills! To say different is ignorant as Stomp saying that losing every top 5* recruit in the west to USC doesn't matter! It matters every time the Mamba rushes 80 yards untouched into the enzone, everytime Colt catches a ball effortlessly, and everytime Arik Armstead will overpower his man and get the QB pancacked to the ground! But what do I know? I wear depends it seems and have never seen football in my life! I should just throw away my college athletic background and follow the golden words of an ass bag ego maniac like Stomp who's uses the king of ass bags Bill Walton as a moniker. And since the mods don't give a shit about personal attacks, I think this board is about to get a ton more fun!
Hey ass bag? Is being the biggest fish in a three fish pond that important to you? Get a fuckin life dude!
offers have gone out to San Diego twins Tyrell & Tyree Robinson. Both made the rivals top 250, are 6'4, and are listed as athlete projecting at a number of positions on the defensive side of the ball. The twins are also expected to play D1 hoops. Okay, I am staying out all this drama schtick...let's stick with how great if we get some recruits 'kay~? Anyways, getting a V-Jax who doesn't have a ranking, yet is being offered from 4 SEC schools, USC, and Michigan, along with WVU is a must. We could use more DE's and make Arik into a DT. It would be BALLER if we can get those twins. What positions can they play?
There are probably 10 posters here, and STOMP has 9 of them on ignore now. I've posted info here, only to have him a day later post the same info as if it was newsworthy and hadn't been discussed. Why visit a message board if you don't want to converse with people?
Just STOMP doing his usual 1000-word opus to a poster, and then putting that poster on ignore. The copy/paste stuff he does is amusing, though.
Just start "signing" your own posts, as if nobody would know who was posting if you forgot to do it. PapaG
This is the Oregon Football Commits & Recruiting News thread. Meltdowns over imagined tin foil hat conspiracies of USC, Cal, UW etc... belong in their own special thread just like LaMichael going to the 49ers does. At least here lets stick to the facts and keep the drama out If I've offended anyone besides GP, I apologize. Tyree is supposed to be primarily projected at DB while Tyrell is thought of as more of an Outside LB. I'm not sure but you guys may be able to read this rivals article... http://oregon.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1366569 STOMP
24/7 is reporting Indiana Outside LB Jaylon Smith just received an Oregon offer. He has expressed interest in Oregon early on, though Notre Dame is supposed to be the lead dog STOMP
Oregon has offered former Yankee Don Mattingly's nephew Danny Mattingly who plays TE in Spokane (hi MZ ). What does he think of the possibility of going to Oregon ? "It's freaking sweet," he said with a laugh. "I love the coaches and they've got a great program." "They're just going to win games up there," he said. "Not just a few. They're out to win them all and I love that. I hate losing more than anything in the world so it means a lot that they win so much. I love that about them. It's just a great school and I'm definitely looking at them." (quotes per rivals) http://www.hudl.com/athlete/842077/highlights/7529696 STOMP
You haven't offended me. You've been awesome providing this info and don't deserve to be treated badly. Thanks. Glad to see us getting this kid. Nothing wrong with TEs to groom. He got offered by Alabama. Gonna be hard taking him since Bama makes LBs/DBs look amazing
the way the Ducks do their D, one of their two defensive ends varies between dropping into coverage like a LB or staying on the line...basically they're switching between a 3-4 and a 4-3 & mixing in some zone blitzes. Currently that Drop End spot is manned by DJordan. Arik is projected primarily on the other side as a Strong Side DE which Terrell Turner played last year but he will also move inside on stunts. When the Drop End drops into coverage and Oregon is in a 3-4, the three remaining DLineman are (ideally) all the size of 4-3 DTs. Aliotti actually referred to AA as an inside D-Lineman following the Spring game. Adding Ebert (who looked great in the Spring Game) to the mix of DTs gives them so much talent and depth, its speculated that the starting 2012 Strong Side DE will probably be Taylor Hart. STOMP
rivals top 250 Kentucky WR James Quick claims a top 3 which includes the Ducks... he hopes to visit UO over the summer. Says he wants to play in a spread offense for a great coaching staff STOMP
he broke the Kentucky HS record in the 200M by nearly 0.3 seconds running a 20.94 at the state finals. For reference, DAT ran a 20.61 in the 200M when he was in HS STOMP
