Hey Ass Bag? I think knowing who is recruiting against the Ducks and what they have so far is very important on a "recruiting thread" especially since those teams UW, CAL, USC, Stanford are.... A) going for the same recruits we are. B) We must play them every year to win the Pac-12 and C) with USC "for sure" the only team that may stop us from a national championship run for the conceivable future I think it's very relevant.

Now if you think only your material is AMAZING to this sports board perhaps you should have your Ass Bag Only thread so you wont have to sign your name at the bottom of every one of your long winded posts! Then you can be the God in your mind that you've always wanted to be and we'll all know where to find you OR NOT! I'm sure the mods would approve! Laters AB! Let the "AB Daily" be born!

    Thread Addendum:

This is the 2013 FOOTBALL Commits and Recruiting News Thread. There seems to be a lot of Off Topic whining going on in this thread. I'm going to ask that these stupid ass petty arguments not about recruiting in the least be taken a) to PM's or b) I can create a 2013 whine and bitch and backbite thread and sticky it for the fighting, since there seems to be a constant need of [IMG] to get out of some people's system. Seriously watch some porn and masturbate or something if you have that much pent up anger.

I like to think that I let a lot go in this part of S2. Probably more than I should actually. But this stuff is not only cluttering this news thread but taking enjoyment out of this forum for some, and it needs to stop.

If you have any questions/concerns please feel free to PM me or any other mod if you feel I am biased against you.

I will be going back through this thread when I have some free time and placing the non recruiting news fighting posts into another thread, and future ones as well. If you want to save me some time feel free to put the future ones there. Thanks :)

Bleachers today reports that Oregon is the worst big time recruiting football program in the country right now. Now I'm sure AB and Wheels feel this isn't relevant but if winning a national championship or even winnning the Pac-12 matters against USC for the conceivable future we might want to step it up in a hurry since they are stacking two deep at the 5 * level now. It's starting to look like "when" USC land Hutchings and Su Cravens along with Bigelow that will be the best defensive class arguably in the nation coming in. That's only on the defensive side of the ball. On offense they've already gotten verbals from the top QB and 2 RB's in the 2013 class. This means to date they've already got a quarter of the top 25 players in the nation. LSU, Bama and Ohio St can't even say that. This while being on reduced scholarships and coming off probation. Unlike Bama, LSU and Ohio St. We have to play them every year. So I'd say it's important to know!

Well, I posted a day before STOMP about the verbal from Evan Voeller, so even with 10 posters, it's little more than a cut/paste hobby for him, and he has no interest in actually discussing things or reading contributions from other posters.

I guess I should also post what I hear from the Scout pay board here too? Seems a bit like stealing to me, though. :dunno:

no troll, I continue to have no interest in discussing anything with you because I've no respect for you... I see you as the board's emo-joke who desperately seeks any and all attention. I've told you to piss off several times before but you still stalk me trying everything from compliments to insults begging for a response. It's truly pathetic. I have no one on ignore, but when scrolling through posts and I come across one of the 20 cries for attention you throw out a day, I just keep on going. Why read or respond to someone I view as disturbed? Quoting me does get me to read, but that typically enforces the impression that I want nothing to do with your silly drama. You're not here to discuss, you're here to have endless stupid insultathons. I'd suggest that others who want to avoid your O-Live cesspool BS use the same tactic... don't feed the troll.

Oregon just offered Georgia RB Alvin Kamara. I'm not sure if it's really a sign of a changing recruiting strategy or just following the talent that interests them, but it seems they've a whole lot of offers out to guys from the SE this year.

this video is pretty herky jerky, but it was the best I could find

Which RB would be best for us to get after Tyner? Kamara or Wilson? I like Kamara more though, mainly because he has a similar build to Tyner

We need a huge work horse back to bang it in from 3 out to the endzone or get the first down when we need one.

neither of those situations has been problematic with the 175-190 pound backs Oregon has been featuring the last few years... in fact it's the exact opposite. Of course LeGarrette & Stewart also did really well during Chip's tenure. The Ducks have great RB & Oline coaches in Campbell & Greatwood and their success is helping them to continue to bring in talented kids. Color me unconcerned about the size of their RB recruits... I'm pretty positive they'll continue to get it done regardless

Barner has had injury issues, Tra is gone, DAT is a situational player not a 4 down RB and that leaves it up to a true freshman in Marshall and RB's by comittee.... I think it's safe to say we need a work horse just like Blount to offset the speed and give us that extra punch against SEC type defenses. To say different is demeaning to SEC schools that made DT's , LMJ's and Barners life very tough in two nationally broadcasted games that we lost both of! Course maybe you think the SEC esp. BAMA and LSU will get smaller every year! HAHAHAHA! THX for the laugh SlyPokerDog!

    1. everyone does 2.no biggie on Tra and I think his lack of production despite good size illuminates how its more about talent then size 3.No way. Same size as every down back LMJ. Expect his touches to increase a lot this year 4. Ayele has performed just fine too 5. how did our last true freshman who earned snaps do? I'm pretty excited to see Marshall who I understand from insider sources is working out like a madman

nice straw man you created to give yourself a laugh with. Oregon stacked up very well in those two games & DT had big games passing in both because they sold out to stop the run. It was fumbles that lost them the LSU game and the mNCG ridiculously sloppy field had both powerful offenses spinning their wheels and pulling a groin.

If DAT was a four down back in the SEC he'd be broken in a year! He's a Reggie Bush type of player and should be used as such. He's 5'10 in shoes and 180 pounds wet. To think Stomp you'd even suggest him as a featured 4 down back at this level is ignorant. Luckily you're not coaching. As for Barner? Him being injury prone is a bit of a concern since he's our FEATURED BACK this year! Logic=1, Stomp=0. Now as for Marshall ,the only place I agree with anything you purge EVER is this kid might be a very quick 1st year impact back for the Ducks and he may have to. I too hope he's as good as people think but to suggest that we don't need another Blount if found, is just silly!!! We are not playing just to beat USC anymore, we playing to beat Bama or whoever the SEC throws our way bowl time. That said until we beat one of these SEC monsters perhaps you might want to cool your jets and think they perhaps too know what they're doing and that's why they're beating us and winning National Championships for the better part of the last decade!
