Does anybody know what's going on with Relando Jefferson? I'm not sure if this belongs in the 2012 or 2013 thread because he may not yet have enough credits to transfer, but Chip still has a few spots open, doesn't he? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w7HSupUz0UU
Maybe that's one of the reasons Chip kept a few schollies in his back pocket. If Relando can get the grades/credits this spring and/or summer, he could conceivable be eligible this fall. That would by far the biggest impact recruit of the year, at least in terms of immediate production.
If we could land him, he could redshirt this year to learn the offense, then he and DAT would light it up with Byron Marshall next year!
correct good sir. College of the Sequoias. High School teammate of one Cliff Harris. Here is the most recent article I have read of him http://www.cbs47.tv/content/sports/...w-wants-to-end-up/7oHS5hkyxk2hLX0fPM641g.cspx
If he keeps his grades up and gets enough credits, he would be apart of the 2013 class. There has been no indication that he has not been doing that and it seems like all should be in line for him to make a transfer to us if possible.
He would be a bit old would he? He graduated in 08, and he was 18. So he would be 24 when he comes to Oregon I think. And how many years of eligibilty would he have?
I still think the idea is to try and get him in school this fall. Found this from Steve Summers in August 2011. Apparently he'll get his associate degree in May. Could be one last sleeper for the 2012 class, if that's the case. If he makes it into UO this fall, he'll have 3 years of eligibility, because he's only played one year of JC ball. He was an Army All-American. http://oregon.scout.com/2/1091311.html
Hopkins is answering questions about the 2013 recruits. Is there any questions you guys wanna know? I asked him this. What is Oregon's interest level in OT Chris Fox? And if we offer where do we stand with him? Also, a lot of people want bigger corners. Have you talked to Priest Willis? And does he have any interest? This was his answer.
Another question he answered that was not VIP. Oregon is right in the hunt for both Vanderdoes and Hutchings, but I don't consider either an Oregon lock by any means. Besides Tyner, I think Evan Voeller and Doug Brenner might be a pair of the top targets for Oregon from the home state.

For those that don't know, Evan Voeller is the brother of already Oregon Duck TE Dallen Voeller. I guess Dallen turned down some schollies to to FCS schools but decided to get a walk-on spot at Oregon. From what I hear we have the inside track for him.
