Virginia DLineman Wyatt Teller puts Oregon in his early top 5 the quality of the video in his Youtube highlights is pretty herky jerky or I'd post it too STOMP
Nico Falah commits in the next 5 minutes.. I see on his twitter he has Oregon, UCLA, and USC as his last three.. I'm guessing its more between the other two than us though.
Nico is a Trojan! I bet their last two spots to make 15 are for Vanderdoes and Redfield..... Probation is a WONDERFUL THING! #2 recruiting class now!
SoCal CB and USC commit Chris Hawkins was just offered by Oregon according to Adam Gorney of rivals. He was at The Opening... STOMP
They can take 18, not 15. Three early entry from next year's class (when they can do the same from the year after that...) Ed O.
I'm pretty sure the NCAA didn't put these guys on probation so they could get the top class in the nation!
Whelp. Well it was nice while it lasted. So what targets do we have left? I know Quick loves us but can we pull him from Kentucky? :V
USC has the best class top to bottom they've ever pulled! Defense... Cravens, Hutchings, Vanderdoes and Bigelow... Their entire defense has new anchor pieces! Offense... Browne, Isaac, Massington, Falah Not only do they have the nations best QB and running back they now have guards to protect them! USC just told Oregon "GO FUCK YOURSELVES" stay out of our state across the board! I think this is a good thing for Oregon.... this total ass kicking in recruiting has made my point very clear! It's time for some new recruiters for the Ducks, cause who we have isn't cutting it with the elite high school players anymore... We better make a statement to USC this year in LA or I fear USC will be the Pac-12 monsters again like in the Caroll era and the Ducks will be outside looking in. No matter who we pull at this point the Ducks got worked this year in recruiting and I've got to believe Chip nor Phil is happy about this! Everyone knows that Vanderdoes and Hutchings were our top wish list players and we spent a ton of time trying to recruit them. I'd say Lamo and crew paid us back quite nicely this year for the Mamba last year!
Let's hope Redfield isn't one of their final pieces! Just imagine Bigelow one side, Vanderdoes on the other side of the Dline with Hutchings rovering and Cravens and Redfield pinning down the deep ball. Ouch! Kinda makes ya wonder why Redfield wouldn't got there with all the talent they've already surrounded him with!
Methinks that with Cravens coming in, and with that one dude whose coming back to USC(he was a safety)... Oregon may get Redfield because he might want playing time. And besides, USC has like, 3 more spots left. I think they're gonna ship hard of Monty Adam to beef up their Front D-line. And that will add another 5star to their class :V.
Hey, at least Ricky-Seals Jones has Oregon in his top 5! Texas so far has been cruel to him(death threats) and he would get to play basketball with AA(and the BB team is good right?) and play in a stellar offense. And he might just bring Quick with him too :V
http://insider.espn.go.com/blog/col...er.espn.go.com/blog/colleges/usc/post?id=3746 Hargreaves III puts USC as his number 1... wow..
USC has turned into the Miami Heat of college football this year! What's the best player at every position in high school worth anyway?
Luckily their coaching is absolute shit, eh? Not too worried. They always get these guys. We seem to be doing just fine...
rivals has them ranked #2 right now. In 4 of the last 10 years they've had the Trojans ranked #1 following signing day !!!so exciting!!! do you root for the Ducks or troll a message board? blah blah blah 3 of Oregon's top 4 rated recruiting classes in the history of the program have been in the past 3 years. That higher rated talent is just starting to integrate into a team that dominated posting the 2nd best record in college football (to Bama) over the past 3 seasons. A bandwagon fan repeatedly calling for coach's heads based on how things are going recruiting wise is sort of cute & ignorable like a child throwing a temper tantrum. Oregon was more then holding their own vs Pete Carroll's primadonnas before they went on probation. USC's talent continues at a very high level but Oregon has closed that perceived gap considerably. I'm expecting more of the same... more top rated classes going to USC, more great kids coming to Oregon, more domination of the Pac 12 by Chip and crew, and more ridiculous blather from our chatsite's Sly Poker Dog. I crack up every time you say "we" STOMP
I will agree there.. plus its not even signing day.. usually towards the end of the season we pull in a bunch of good kids.. Honestly.. I want to get Quessenberry and Redfield more than anyone.. our O-Line concerned me the most.. Our D-Line got a bunch of good recruits last year. but look at our O-Line against elite SEC defenses... didn't do as well.
the O-Line did get 5 good sized & well regarded prospects the year prior and have 2 more of the same verbaled this year. Of course they're looking to add more talent, but there really isn't a position with anything close to having a glaring need of shoring up. 2013 commits will probably Redshirt. btw... here's a quote from Florida DT Jaynard Bostwick via rivals. "I plan to use all of my official visits," Bostwick said. "I know I will definitely go to Oregon but I haven't set the date yet. I know I am going though." STOMP
