Hopkins is saying don't get your hopes up about Barrett. From what he understands Barrett doesn't want to leave the region. Sefo, Troy Williams, Khari McGee, and Kenny Hill are other main QB targets. He also said Kelly likes to have 5 QB's under scholarship so we will probably only be taking 1 this class. Also here is a little tidbit about Kenny Hill
http://247sports.com/Player/Kenneth-Clark-18434 Oregon apparently has a high degree of interest in this player.
So what is everybody's wish list? Try and be realistic I guess. As much as I'd be in unbelievable euphoria if we landed Nkemdiche, I just don't see us pulling him out of SEC country. ~Wish List~(underline players mean ones I particularly want). Michael Hutchings Eddie Vanderdoes Max Redfield Chans Cox Steven Mitchell Troy Williams Priest Willis Jaynard Bostwick Dontre Wilson Evan Voeller Isaac Savaiinaea Vita Vea All these guys are on the rivals 250 and we have a better than average shot at all of them. Last year we only had 7 from the rivals 250 and no 5 stars. This year we already have a 5 star from the rivals 250 in Thomas Tyner. So realistically I'm not expecting half of these guys. Hutchings and Vanderdoes should definitely be high priority though.
goodness Da_0 I gotta hand it to ya. You are way ahead of the game with names. I usually dont start remember who these kids are until closer to Late summer
Players that I personally want our staff to go after hard. Willis I think will move up in the next batch of rankings. His size along with his speed are a rare combination at the corner position.
we haven't won the Natty thus far, yet Robert has been listing us in his top 3 in more then one recent interview. I won't be surprised if he visits Eugene and if he does then it's a reasonable possibility for a highly rated kid from a thousand plus miles away with options choosing Oregon. There are many recent examples of this on the roster STOMP
We were close, I mean last season we started ranked #4. And this season we will be ranked 6/7. The Natty can be in our reach. Though people are sitll thinking LSU can be #2 are crazy. They lost guys and their offense is kind of a joke. Their D is amazing sure, but we exposed them last season as did Alabama. What can beat a Defense like LSUs or Alabamas anyway? We can run/pass against USC, Choklahoma need I say more? And Michigan and West Virginia are also contenders.
sounds like West Linn Offensive Lineman Evan Voeller is chomping at the bit for an offer from his rooting interest. He'll be in for Jr. day and may receive one then on a side note, a recent quote via AJ at rivals from Bay Area LB Michael Hutchings..."I have extreme interest in Oregon." STOMP
Getting AA was huge for the Ducks... Not only is he a monster who hasn't gotten into his strength yet, he's well connected and doing work for the Ducks already. 2013 recruiting class could be EPIC!!!

Two thoughts. 1) It's easy to see the flat effort early against a talented USC team. Stanford was the game of the year in the Pac-12, and the Ducks blew off their doors. Next year, USC will not be overlooked. 2) Watching Barner in the video, I'm not at all worried about leadership next year.
I had those same thoughts about the USC performance. I remember seeing the players celebrate on the sidelines like they just won a bowl game. I get the overlooking of USC
Maybe it's because they trashed all over Andrew Luck for the final time. Also, what was the chant? I couldn't make it out
6'4 275 lb. Florida DT Jaynard Bostwick recently listed Oregon as his #2 after Univ. of Miami & followed by Alabama and LSU STOMP
