Did you really watch a lot of Utah games last year? Be honest.

It means Lee has no idea what's going on.

What would you "quantify" as "a lot"? More than most people, yes.

Jefferson is probably my favorite player to watch in the post. His offensive game is beautiful. Same with Zbo.

Either of you care to start expressing your arguments as to why he isn't elite? When the numbers, facts, prove that he is? I am keeping an open mind, but so far I have not seen an argument that is justified by the numbers or facts, just opinions.

Yeah, WTF is up in Denver? First, they let their GM, 2012-13 NBA Executive of the Year, Masai Ujiri walk to Toronto. Then they fired 2012-13 NBA Coach of the Year. George Karl. Karl led that team to 57 wins. That's seriously overachieving. It seems like that team was constantly giving away talent (Nene, Melo, etc.) to save money, but still managed to win 50+ games year after year under Karl.

Why does a team that won 57 games suddenly dive feet first into tank mode? Sure, they lost to Golden State in the first round, but Golden State was healthy (FINALLY had Bogut back) and the Nuggets weren't. They were missing Galinari and Faried didn't play in game 1, tried to play in the rest of the series, but was far less than 100%. They were forced to start 20-year old Evan Fournier in that series!

So, to build on that 57 win team, they let their GM (of the year) walk and fire their coach (of the year), give away their starting center for a crappy, undersized, below average back-up and let another starter walk for nothing. This is what happens when the owner lets his retarded son have too much influence:

    Win 57 game: check!
    Let GM Walk: check!
    Fire Coach: check!
    Trade 23-year old starting center (PER = 17.2, $3 million/yr) for 25-year old back-up power forward (PER = 11.8, $3 million/yr): check!
Refuse to do sign and trade and lose starting SG for nothing: check!

Guess I shouldn't' complain. The single biggest reason the Blazers will make the playoffs in 2014 is not Neil Olshey (or the acquisitions ofC.J. McCollum, Robin Lopez and Thomas Robinson), it's Josh Kroenke . Thanks Josh!!!

21 years old. Team didn't give him minutes to solely develop him, as he played behind Millsap and Al Jefferson. Committed to him as the future of the franchise.

I guess Tony Allen isn't an elite defender, because he isn't an all star or league leader. Hmm.

translation: not good enough to beat out Paul Milsap for the starting position.

Translation: they were committed to winning with an Al Jeff and Millsap front court - you don't have time to develop players if you are trying to WIN.

Same thing Portland will be doing if they get rid of LMA for lesser players, just as Utah did when they traded Deron Williams for lesser talent.
