It was very hush hush which is always fun to debate on why it was so unpublicized. Len seems like he is going to be one hell of a player, loving everything i'v read about him and he played on that hurt foot almost a month before he the season ended and the let him get an MRI. Still wouldn't trade LMA for a deal based around him.

I'd consider trading LMA for 1,13, 19, and Thompson. If trade happened we'd also be in line for lottery pick next year. Which is suppose suppose to be loaded. We aren't going any where with LMA so I'd do the deal

The #19 would be used to land the #13.

if you could package 10 and 13 for 4, and go Oladipo and Len

    Lillard/Oladipo/Batum/Thompson/Len

Still think nothing happens with LMA. Would be very shocked.

ugh. This is not the draft to trade LA for a pick. I hate these ideas.

Add next year's lotto pick and whatever cap space that would leave us with this year and next and we might be off to the races. I'd be tempted to roll those dice.

Oladipo is not a #1..... that's just ridiculous. I like the kid, but not at #1.

Re: 2013 Official NBA Off-season Movement & Rumors

I will say I don't like the idea of dealing LMA, and don't particularly care for the deal I mentioned. Was just throwing it out a a rebuild option. However, if you were to want to target those two players, I think there's a stronger possibility of Oladipo getting picked at 2 than Len. So if you wanted to get them both, I think you'd need to go Oladipo 1, Len 4, instead of Len 1, and then hoping Oladipo is there at 4.

But again, still not a big fan of the deal. Don't like dealing LMA at this time. If we WERE to, however, being able to get send him and 10 for 1, 4, TT is slightly closer for me.

When Chris Bosh constantly gets hurt it makes me wish we had LMA. It is a close call, I wouldn't be dealing LA for just anyone though.

I wonder--if we think that LMA is worth more than 1/19/TT, do the Heat think Bosh would be worth that same package? Or would the Cavs reject any deal with the Heat out of hand because their ultimate goal is to try to entice Lebron to come back?

Yeah I think Cleveland rejects the deal for multiple reasons. First Bosh has openly said he hates Cleveland, his injuries the last two post-seasons are disturbing and this is coming from someone who likes his game, and Cleveland needs young players not someone about to turn 30.

Been hearing this one more and more lately: Rising sense out there that Jazz might simply let big man Al Jefferson walk in free agency

If the Blazers could get a decent center next to LaMarcus and fill out their bench with actual NBA players, an argument can be made to keep him as well. Compare the Spurs top four players to the Blazers top four players, and I can see how folks could argue we aren't that far away.

    Grandpa Duncan/Prime LaMarcus
    Aging Parker/Young Lillard
    K. Leonard/N. Batum
    D. Green/W. Matthews

The Spurs also don't have much of a center, and their bench is crap.

Of course, they have Pop and a two decade old culture and established system.

It's the team defense and offensive plan that make the Spurs the Spurs. Also I'd never compare LA to Duncan.

He shouldn't be a #1 pick but he is by far the best player in this years weak draft. You will see next year he will be the best rookie of this draft. I have seen all the top players play and there isn't any of them even close to Oladipo. If I had the #1 pick I would trade the pick if possible but if I had to make the pick it would have to be Oladipo.

Anyone can be compared to anyone. Tim Duncan, for example, is a lot taller and infinitely better at basketball than me. There, I did it. :)

As for Duncan v. LaMarcus: Duncan is a unanimous GOAT/LaMarcus is merely a second team All Star. Duncan is nearing the end of his career, LaMarcus is in his prime. Right now, today, at this stage of their careers, I think LaMarcus is a better player, head-to-head. Oops, I did it again. :)

Can you clarify what you mean? I might agree with you if we're talking LMA v Duncan playing against each other. But if we're talking about comparing their games against the entire league over the course of an NBA season, then there's absolutely no way LMA is better than Duncan.

Shortly after the season ended, I heard that Al Jefferson was packing his bags and expecting to walk elsewhere as a free agent.

I also heard that Paul Millsap and Earl Watson got into it with Ty Corbin last season. Not sure if that will affect their future in Utah.
