He is committed to Washington, and Tosh is like a vampire. Once he sinks his fangs, he don't let go. You sure on that?
New commit, unranked JC DB Dominique Harrison. This throws a wrench into who I felt we had good shot with DB wise and how many we would take.
my reaction is that this is a proactive move anticipating 1-2 CBs declaring early for the NFL draft and needing more bodies who are good to go. True Freshman usually Redshirt STOMP
Damnit, we may now loss McGraw now. Can't he play safety? Also, Hopkins is a wizard. Tui Talia has switched from Washington to Oregon
Tosh's vampire nickname is Gummy. Tui Talia has flipped to the Ducks. He certainly has the size they seem to be going for. STOMP
This report is having a hard time passing the sniff test. Maybe UCLA now leads for McGraw, but having several recruits in the same class who play the same position is completely normal. Besides, at least in rivals database McGraw is listed as a Safety & Harrison at CB STOMP
an article on Talia with these quotes from his JC coach http://www.addictedtoquack.com/2013...a-commits-to-oregon-ducks-football-recruiting STOMP
2013 class only one EE JC target Walker did ok during spring game. Rest are not on Campus 2012 class Mostly Redshirted as usual. for redshirts. Rumor is Rodrigues beat out Lockie as backup but unconfirmed. Chance Allen was rumored to be great last year, but didn't see much at spring game. Of those that played Stanford had some catches last year but seems to be out this season with a season ending injury, chance we may use his redshirt medically this year. Brown saw some play, unsure how will be used this year. Kyle Long. Played a year then drafted in the 1st round by the bears. Buckner. Played from the start will see more playing time Armstead. Played from the start will see more playing time. Balducci. Injuries caused us to burn his redshirt late, should see more time probably starting NT rotation JR/SR year Marshall. May be primary backup rb, I still think he may get passed but that is just my opinion.
Not even Tyner? Isn't he supposed to be the Yeldon to Marshall's Lacy? Can't wait to see the young blood step up
pretty sure he's still finishing up his Senior year in HS. Reportedly he'll join the team for summer workouts to ready himself for the fall practices STOMP
commit Morgan Mahalak just received the final spot in the ESPN Elite 11 QB contest/camp thing http://www.marinij.com/sports/ci_23...n-catholics-mahalak-receives-invitation-elite STOMP
yes, landing a top rated long snapper is nice. Their current LS (Drew Howell) is a Junior, so this should be a smooth transition and keep their special teams clicking Jelks is still interested in the Ducks and hasn't committed anywhere. Even if UO is his top interest, it's a 1,200+ mile drive on his own dime to visit Eugene for an unofficial so I wouldn't be surprised if he waits until the fall to take an OV. 6'9 Kaleb McGary hails from Tacoma Wa and will be visiting later this month. Oregon is recruiting him as an athlete who could play on either line... there is chatter he might go out for hoops too alla Arik Armstead STOMP
Oh boy, cockblocking Washington and Tosh for McGary would so nice. Plus, we could try to nab Jelks too. Also, this Matt Elam kid out of Kentucky. 6'6 and over 350!! My goodness! Hope he commits to Louisville or tOSU over Can'tucky. Also, how are we in the Tight End Department? We always seem to recruit one tight end a class, and we could possibly shift them over to defense if the depth too large. Result was a 3rd overall pick and a beast of a hybrid OLB in Dion. Rumor has it that outside of Mondeaux, we have Bryce Dixon out of SoCal and a Ravian Pierce in Florida who seem interested(all he needs is an offer).
Mondeaux is being recruited as a DE, which may cost us him in the end if he really wants to play TE and some school he likes offer. We are taking 1 TE this class. Currently Dixon and Wood are at the top of the list since both have offers. Bunting was at the very top but obviously missed out on him. Pierce is possible if he gets in another round of evaluations and makes it or if we strike out and decide to go with him.
