FWIW, Brock Huard today basically said Baker is a Duck, and that Sark has lost him. I'm not sure if Huard has inside sources, but he was treating it as a matter of fact, and the Baker would be competing for starting safety next fall in Eugene.
3 star, Glenn Ihenacho commits to oregon. Little confused, but possible that maybe McGraw is part of a UCLA package. I suppose I can't say it means we're out with JuJu because we are looking at him at WR.
Glenn is a HS teammate of another DB the Ducks are recruiting. I've no insider knowledge, just saying. Both of his older brothers are/were in the NFL. With their limited amount of OVs available, you know that the coaches are really interested in any kid they bring in. Ihenacho... the minute I heard this kids last name, I knew he was a Duck! This kid hits with aggression!
Mondeaux, wonder if he has the skill set to convert to MLB. Ht: 6-4 Wt: 245 Position: TE, DE Year: Class of 2014 High School: Jesuit HS (Portland, OR)
The quote I read from him is that at least initially he's going to be starting out as a Drop End/Outside LB. He's got the sort of malleable frame that coach Rad and the nutritionists could shape to play at a variety of spots. Similarly, it will be interesting to see what sort of physical dimensions TJ Daniel brings to the table following a Redshirt year where he's being converted from TE to DLine. guessing that they go after at least one more JC DT type in this cycle STOMP
247 no longer believes Oregon has any shot at JuJu (due to Oregon losing and USC winning.) Also no shot at Adoree who may not make the CW game. Almost no shot at Nicholson who will probably stay closer to home. Mum on Dixon who is being quiet. We have told McGraw he has a guaranteed spot as he waits until signing day, still rumblings on UCLA with him.
Daigotsu, Should we take away from this that guys you mentioned above will only come here if they can ride the breeze of a national championship team they didn't play for? I think that says way more about the these kids then our school! Course Aliotti should take notice of this being that all these kids could have been on his defense and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see our D is the problem here and these kids don't have confidence in his tutelage. As for McGraw I see this kid at UCLA way more than the Ducks, his personality seems to be image and more image and FUCLA would be great for that! He can join the dirtiest team in the Pac for the next two years till USC makes them irrelevant in the south once again!
247's predictions have a bad track record of turning out to hold water. If a Duck fan knows this and chooses make a leap of faith and believe them and then go on to form an opinion on a kid's character based on their historically bad guesses, really thats on the reader. It's the old adage crap in crap out, but knock yourself out believing that this time they're right if thats what you want btw... I watched an interview with Juju not two weeks ago where he was absolutely raving about the Ducks. I've always had my doubts about Nicholson becoming a Duck as I've read two different articles where he's stated he wants to study Engineering in college. STOMP
JC OLineman Haniteli Lousi is also in town on an OV for the civil war. A tweet from him claimed that he's gained 10 pounds since he arrived STOMP
