I've been reading more on the JC kid (Heard) who they just signed for the previous class... seems like he may have a ton of potential. He comes from a very poor & violent part of Oakland Ca that barely had a sports program. Quotes from his JC coach were that he'd never lifted weights or received 3 good meals a day, yet he still made an immediate impact as a Freshman. Off the field he earned 2 academic scholarships at the JC and is supposed to be a driven student. UO should be a fantastic opportunity for him to blossom STOMP

So we can't land Stidham because of Muh Klingsbury and Muh Girlfriend and now we can't get a guy who was a shoe in for us because of Kiffin being a silver tongue'd devil. We might as well not get a QB at all and just focus all in on Malik Henry next cycle. This is just bull, that or Helf needs to actually see Barnett in person because all those SEC coaches are.
We will get a QB this cycle because depth is thin there, though he may be a project. (not the project that is waller.. too much ego) even the USC people who claimed oregon have switched to Bama.
I'm sick and tired of Oregon always being the bridesmaid while the best prospects spurn us either due to fucking legacy, peer pressure, or a silver tongued liar who is proven to be a terrible coach and person(except Klingsbury). Helfrich is the QB guru up there, yet he hasn't succeeded aside from a guy who is raw(Mahalak). And despite Francois having Oregon in his top 3 he canned his ohio state visit. He isn't going long distance when he could go to Auburn or FSU. Another raw guy, no highly rated guy despite Oregon winning 10+ games over the last 5 years.
