Sounds like Darnold was just offered. We Mahalak will either be a RS FR or a SO next year, and Lockie.
I remember a good 6 or so years ago, when Nate Costa went down again we had no idea what we would do at QB with guys like Roper, Kempt, and some guy named Masoli behind Center. We did ok there too.

In other words, everyone... breathe :)

Darnold plays OLB at San Clemente. And he looks too Tebow-ish and you can't win with a Masoli anymore.

Go all in on Francois or bust this year to grab Malik Henry.

And STOMP, what's the word on the rivals forums. I feel sick right now

Tebow seemed to have a pretty decent College Career iirc.

Why would it be harder to win with Masoli with better talent now, than when he had less talent around him?
I would think Masoli would be more successful now with more elite talent than he had when he played.

I got nothing for you feeling sick though. These are kids' decisions on where to get an education and make big life decisions.

...and when Masoli was ousted I recall responding to BlazerProphet's QB concerns about Darron Thomas being in the wings and being excited to see what he had to offer.

Whats going on at rivals? A couple of posters who always :MARIS61: are doing their dance while some are imploring them to settle down. Others are speculating the same names we are. AJ spoke to Deondre Francois who stated Oregon is in his top 3 with FSU and Auburn

I'm not a fan of Sam Darnold at all. We need to grab Francois or switch a prospect over to us.

Or if we really do want to go down the Nick Marshall/Masoli route...just offer Waller, but it wouldn't surprise me of he decided to go to ND just out of spite. After all of this jerking around and Oregon comes crawling? I would spite them for not considering me as their #1 guy.

Oh, and when I found out of Barnett's reasons for joining Alabama I fucking laughed. Lane Kiffin developed all those great USC Qbs? That was Sark you tool.

But if no Waller or Barnett, I would rather just tank for Henry...because all the other good dual threat Qbs are in the east coast. We had a chance to grab an elite QB from the west and look what happened. Helfrich got too fucking picky.

I know I am venting and frustrated as hell, but this has been one of the worst cycles I can remember saying back to '11. If Helf does bad this year, can him and get RichRod. His offense can work wonders in Oregon.

Ufggggh. I feel like BlazerProphet now...

Remind me of the recruiting cycle when they had more then three 4*s at this point of the year... and I'll up you on the back to 2011 claim and say ever because it hasn't happened. By the Ducks history, they're off to a great start for the 2015 recruiting class.

I'm much more bummed about losing Dunmore & Robinson to attrition then any recruit deciding to go elsewhere, and those guys were peripheral players in the depth chart.

Because he missed most of last season to injury, there is very little tape on him for us to form an opinion. Of course coaches get to see kids in camps and such, so they've a more informed opinion. Are you aware that Sam has been invited to the Elite 11 QB finals & The Opening? You don't get those invites if you're a scrub.

Until very recently Oregon OLine commit Shane Lemieux wasn't rated either. No stars means that rivals hasn't rated him yet, but he attended Oregon's recent camp and impressed Greatwood & Co enough to earn the offer. 6'6 260 and running a sub 5 second 40 sure sounds intriguing. He's supposed to be a long limbed athletic Tackle in the Johnstone mold

Hopkins has tried to hint at some mystery big name QB being into Oregon. Knowing him he's talking about Kline or Stills.

I'll be happy with Waller. That season where he threw 7 picks was his junior season after all. And he may get better and get a 5th star.

In addition, he could be similar to Nick Marshall.

And Calvin Throckmorton has committed! Are we set on O-line this class or are we grabbing a Center then we are good? Or do we need more O-lineman(wouldn't mind grabbing those twins in Vegas).

Also, we have an offer on Equanimous St. Brown? Grabbing him and Waller would be an amazing package deal
