The pic is taken from below with Benson standing in the foreground (& Peat a step or two back) so of course he appears taller. I'm not sure who has questions about this, but perhaps they should take a field trip to OMSI

scout reporting Jalen Campbell down to us or TCU and will decide soon. Would rather go harder after Donte Jackson first, considering limited spots. It also seems like we have several viable late options still available for the one spot left if we want someone with a little work needed. Dale, either of the virginia boys ect. Out of my hands though.

I would go with Hunter Dale. 6'2 safeties don't grow on trees and keeps the Hawaii pipeline flowing. And Jackson is an amazing athlete we can steal from the SEC.

Stoked about getting Peat though. That means we are out of it for Porter Gustin I take it?

Peat has repeatedly stated that he intends to sign later on & is looking forward to taking OVs in the fall. Looks like the Duckies have a good shot at landing him, but I wouldn't expect it soon.

STOMP, do you think we're seeing this uptick in OV's as a result of the recent to-do in Portland?

Sucks to hear about Gustin :/

Cool to hear about Peat though.

Recent to-do in Portland? You mean the Opening?

I'm sure perfect weather at a great event in the state didn't hurt UO's chances with their preferred targets, but my guess is that coaches have been establishing relationships with them for many months. Keep in mind that per NCAA regulations none of the recruiting info we're privy to is from the schools, it's all from the prospects and to a lessor extent their families/coaches. Top prospects are dealing with multiple phone calls from various coaches every week and don't always answer when rivals/scout/247 etc call. A public event like the Opening gives the sites a chance to put a microphone in front of the kids and catch up on whats been happening.

Nice to get Breeze on board :)

Good for Darnold. Maybe he will lose out behind Town or make Town mediocre by beating him out.

Surprised about Dale though, thought the McGraw connection would help. Oh well,
No skin off my bones. That 6'2 safety down in Hawaii on the other hand...

Brady Breeze via rivals..."And it's Oregon; the best school in the country. If you get an offer from them why not take it? It's where I've always wanted to go."

    love that

Not a fan of Campbell, but I like Kane though. Why do we like Campbell? 247 has him ranked pitifully low.

We had interest in Campbell before his injury and commitment to texas. He was looking to maybe shoot up in the rankings. Then he got hurt but hasn't bounced back as much as many like.

Rumor is Stanford might be out for Canton Kaumatule, which would make him down to Oregon or USC. Some at USC think Oregon may lead.
