If "EITHER" Stomp or myself attacks each other's post with vast sarcasm which is Stomps personal writing style, or a personal attack like me calling him an obvious MORON then we are suspended for a month instantly? Call his thoughts, or mine or anybody else's obnoxiously optimistic, sky is falling, negative, laughable, etc etc, and that is ok. Calling someone a moron, stupid, idiotic, etc etc, isnt ok. If you or Stomp or anyone else want to take a voluntary leave of absence, or self suspension, thats all up to you. I think myself and other Mods on here, have shown that Banning and suspensions are the absolute last resort, and in one case only (on here) has been reserved for someone openly talking about how they are trying to circumvent the already lax rules in here, to attack. For now, I'll just stick with weeding out attack posts, and Thats as far as I'm going to go with it. I like differing opinions, even ones I agree with less than 1% of the time. They just please please please PLEASE need to be delivered in a manner without attacking someone.
Here's what I think, I know I could not comment anything seemingly aggressive to this Stomp character if he didn't "STALK" my every post with sarcastic aggressive slashes meant to create heated responses at the VERY LEAST! In truth I think you mods KNOW that I haven't had a problem with any other poster here. Can you say the same for our good old STOMP? I think not! Posters have been banned specifically because of interactions dealing with him and no one who reads this guys daily stalking retorts can overlook his constant need to throw digs at others opinions! I offered a solution, one where the aggressor would be penalized instantly. It seems you're not as confident in your Stomp being able to live up to his end of that proposal. I'm choosing to not go that route, as its been expressed by higher ups (and I happen to agree with) Suspensions and Bannings being the absolute last resort. As a matter of fact, I believe that the procedure for bans and suspensions was changed, around PapaG ban. And that ability/burden was taken away from a peasant mod such as myself Please if you have other questions or concerns on moderation or anything, feel free to PM myself, Sly, Denny, Nate, or anyone. It would be awesome if you'd use it and not subject the rest of us to your ridiculous victim whining in the Duck recruiting thread. No one cares about your drama, no one. But here's a suggestion...maybe instead of repeatedly violating and now begging the mods to change the very simple rules that have served us well since long before you arrived with constant streams of Bullshit passed off as fact & hijacking thread after thread to complain about the same things over & over & over, you should go forth and start a new on-line Duck community? Oregon continues to evaluate late bloomers, and DT mods still overly free with CB. Offer too Octavius Spencer (and a CB) , a cb for juco de Austin Roberts, older cb for juco DE Jeremiah Mitchell. We are even looking at a JuCo Qb Trent Hosick Basically floods of backup choices, not super excited about this trend in general meaning for chances on some of our other targets.
Is Cowart in fact visiting this weekend? By the Rivals video and his coaches thoughts, it seems he still very interested in Oregon? Is it possible this kid has already chosen Oregon in his mind and really just been playing Coydog with the other schools? I'm starting to wonder.....
Cowart hasn't confirmed he'll be in Eugene this weekend yet but Doherty has. Much to my disappointment, Gallimore will be visiting Auburn instead of UO STOMP

Hearing that Gallimore has a very ill father....that may factor into his recruiting and ultimately the school he chooses. In other news, DT Terry Beckner Jr's HS season just ended last weekend with a loss in the playoffs, so he's now taking recruiting phone calls again. According to his coach as relayed by rivals's Josh Helmholdt, the first school to contact him was Oregon and an OV is being scheduled. It was his impression that the date will be settled on/announced shortly. STOMP

KLS is visiting ucla for the USC game then calling off other visits may decide soon. rumor to be UCLA-oregon battle. Octavious spencer will be at colorado game as well as juco lb Davon Durant
KL-S has stated he's planning on playing outside LB in college. Going forward, if Oregon continues to run a 3-4 as their base D, he'd be looking at playing the Drop End spot that Senior Tony Washington is at. Canton is projected at either of the spots that Arik and DeForest currently occupy, so it's just as likely that they'd be on the same side. I love it when Oregon lands front 7 athletes who are athletic enough to both pass rush & drop into coverage so they can pull off shifting between Defensive looks seamlessly. STOMP
Canton is supposedly unlockable by upwards of two O lineman from rival high schools in Hawaii who've played against him. If he can command that type of attention at the next level that would open up a ton of fun blitz packages off his weak side. Further if Big Buck hangs around next year it could be a great D if our scheme could be tweaked a bit! I'd like to grab Tell too as a security for the next wave of our secondary. Next year's secondary will be young and without Dargan and Ifo you can believe teams are going to challenge us there. I really HOPE Springs is everything we thought he was when we got recruited him. That said I think our new paint layer will be Ihenacho. This kid hits HARD. Maybe our next Dargan. We'll see......
