Stoked for Murray for sure. Can't wait for his announcement! Also, Locksley was seen practicing in Duck gear for sure. Speaking of QBs, TAMU fans on 247 are nervous and attacking the Oregon boards(same with Florida in regards to USC. Talk about insecure). Blazers up 2-1, LA had two 40+ games a tHouston, but kinda stunk up the joint at home despite Lilliard balling.
Rasheem Green... what did you think about your visit to Oregon? https://twitter.com/ras_green/statuses/460111707176972288 STOMP
Ducks offer Florida Athlete Ray Ray McCloud at WR. He's supposed to really like Oregon (maybe even favor) and has close family friends in Portland. STOMP
It is highly unlikely we land kyler, McKenzie released his top five post trip and we are not in it. Green liked his trip, but we don't seem to have offered him yet. 247 obsessed with cowart, though he won't commit for a good long whileand he hasn't visited us which will sway him one way or the other
Nice to hear about Greene. And Ray-Ray looks like a Kirk fall back option. I like! When we gonna offer Greene then? And how do you know about our chances with Kyler?
Since schools are prohibited from talking about individual prospects, all info comes from the prospects or those around them. As near as I can tell Greene hasn't been giving interviews lately or Tweeting much, so who knows whether Oregon has offered him or not? What we do know is that there is mutual interest on both sides, that he "Loved" his visit to Eugene & has said he's very interested in the program. btw, Murray tweeted that he'll be announcing May 1st (Thursday) STOMP
the Ducks recently offered Brady White. He's supposed to make his decision in the next few weeks and has already visited STOMP
I think that means we maybe out for Murray, Locksley, and maybe even Deondre. J-Rod 2.0 here we come, still, better than no QB I suppose.
the Ducks offered more then 5 other RBs after they offered Taj, and yet somehow that didn't mean they were on the outs with him. It's a game of musical chairs with scholarships instead and still better then no QB you suppose.... isn't White one of the highest rated QBs in the country??? STOMP
Rodriguez was highly rated too, and rumor is he is falling behind Alie the walk on. QB is such a gamble either way. We are also looking to take 2 RB this cycle.
a recent Moseley article begs to differ 2. Given noncommittal reviews from the staff, and the limited situations in which Jeff Lockie and Jake Rodrigues saw the field last fall, fans are still wondering which one of the backup quarterbacks would get the call if the need arose in a meaningful situation. Personally, my amateur opinion was that Lockie had the edge coming into this spring but that Rodrigues had a strong month, particularly in last week’s scrimmage. Rodrigues says he’s finally at full strength, after having a procedure over the offseason to address lingering effects from the catastrophic lower leg injury that ended his high school career. “I feel awesome, 100 percent again,” Rodrigues said. “Spring has been great. We had a lot of fun. It’s a different feeling than the two springs I’ve been through before this. Every guy did what they were supposed to do and got better.” http://www.goducks.com/ViewArticle.dbml?SPSID=827611&SPID=139708&DB_OEM_ID=500&ATCLID=209485097 you say that like it's a fact. With only 14-15 scholarships, and only Ayele running out of eligibility I doubt they take a 2nd RB unless he's to be moved to WR STOMP
Biggins and Hopkins say we offered too late with White and he is going to ASU. Unknown if we will offer Waller. We may wait out until end of the cycle to try to flip Bennett or just get hobbs 2.o
Fresno DT Jacob Daniel relayed that his plane has touched down in PDX. He's visiting for the Spring Game this weekend STOMP
so Lemiuex committed, rumor is we may get another commit shortly from one of the other spring game visitors
Also, Ty Griffin, brother of Taj Griffin, is transfering out of Georgia Tech to Oregon. I guess this means we lock up Taj. On the negative side, QB recruit outlook doesn't look too good. Guess we better invest in next year.
