I think this pick means two things, Kearse or Baldwin are gone and Richardson is gonna be out for the season. We have the big targets in Jimmy and Matthews, we need players that can get open when Wilson scrambles.
Dallas pass rush could be Nasty this year depending on how long Hardy is actually suspended for. Add in the fact Marinelli will get everything out of the D line its going to be a fun season. People will still be able to throw all over dallas but you cant fix a broken D in one off season.
Well.... no he's not. U of O took out that insurance policy, and they paid a 40k premium on it, but the $3 million will come from the insurance company. Interesting tidbit though, I read in an ESPN article that no player has actually collected on one of those insurance policies. Marquis Lee is actually in the process of fighting Lloyds of London to collect on a $10 million (I think) policy from when he was at USC.
Mannion drafted before Hundley. Who would have predicted that 6 months ago? OTOH, Hundley may be in the best position of any QB drafted. He will be under minimum pressure.
The police report is kind of interesting. The girlfriend says she threw a TV remote at Clark and then he restrained her on the bed, then she bit him on the nose while he was restraining her, then he punched her in the face. Of course other witnesses have other versions. Tough to know what to believe actually happened there, but seems hard to say that he didn't punch her. Seems to me that they both were physical with one another and he was drunk and clocked her. It would be more honest if they would just say that he made a horrible mistake and that he has learned from it, then to try to claim that he didn't hit her. However, earlier (like last draft or the draft before), John Schneider said that they would never draft anyone who had assaulted a woman. Then they kick the tires on Greg Hardy and draft Frank Clark.
