The biggest riser in DX's updated blog - Tyler Ulis.

With our pick that goes to Denver.

    Micro CP3.

I think if your last name is Richardson you HAVE to be a good 3 point shooter

Sounds like Zubac will likely pullout. He's just testing the waters. Well, at least we'll have our pick next year when Zubac and Jeanne could be had.

    Trade for Ulis or bust.

I wonder how big (if any) an impact Philly having all these first round picks had on some of these guys.

All it takes is somebody who follows the league to know what a shitty situation that could end up being.

    Joking aside...

Ulis has elite intangibles and court vision. The only reason why he's not a top-5 pick is obviously due to his size - his standing reach would be the shortest ever in DX's database for a first round pick.

Ulis is currently rising on all three big mock drafts - most have him a mid-first guy and he could very well rise into the late lotto.

I know NBADraft.net is not the end-all, be-all in terms of mock drafts, but they have Ulis going No. 35 in their latest update (4/25).

    DX is the standard.

NBAdraft.net is notoriously all over the place.

I know last time we wasn't in the draft we stay pact not by getting in I think we stay pact this year due all our young players we got already. I think Neil try to due something in the free agent or by trade.

The orange whathaveyou - That's the astaxanthin pigment in the Crabbes protective curls.

On a side note - I was kinda hoping Crabbe would come into the play-offs with a de-shelled look. I wanted to see him go super-serious mode, without the ridiculous haircut.
But possibly, like Samson, if the orange protective curls go - so does the pincer power.

Is the back up PG spot really that important? Especially one that is shorter than the guards we already have? Sure we always need a back up PG, but it seems to be a lower priority than some of the other positions. I think Ulis is a player, but I just don' think he is a good fit with Dame or CJ.

Ulis? Really? Isaiah Thomas is an anomaly. I'm not convinced a 5'7" shoot first PG is what we really need the most right now.

Thomas proved that if you have the intangibles height/length isn't everything. Ulis has all those qualities. On top of that - Ulis would be a backup. You don't draft a player of his size to be your PGOTF. There aren't many PG's in years to control tempo like Ulis did. He's exactly what our bench needs.

5'9 Thomas is all intangibles - he's even a better defener than the 6'3" Lillard.

How active do we wan't to be in this draft? With all the talent on this roster I feel we can be as involved as we want to. Going to be interesting to see how much of the FO's attention is focused on the draft, and how much of it is focused on FA.

Don't be a hermit; I have a soft shell spot for his cut.
