Yeah, I think the college game was too slow for him lol. If they don't start him at point guard, they're idiots.

So far leading Summer League in assists.
Start him at SF but that allows you to play combo guards at both guard spots.

Looks like it doesn't matter how old Thon Maker is. Kicking ass and vindicating the Bucks. They seem to draft well these days.

I just wish the Summer League was longer. You only get a few games to form an impression of a player.

I wish the Blazers participated in more than just Las Vegas. We used to do one that was in Utah AND one in LA.

They keep drafting the same type of player though.

Olshey put a premium of coaching over actual game time.... and they may have a point. You can teach a player all you want but it doesn't transfer over unless it's versus top competition. That has to be a main reason we got rid of the D league affuliate.

I love Jacob Poeltl's game but I think he was born 30 years too early. Great classic center with good footwork and positioning. If he puts on some weight and gets some mean in him.... then watch out.

I watched him against Oregon 5 times and he never played well once. And they had no center. I just can't see how he will be effective against bigger quicker centers. We will see.

That's not a good sign. He hasn't picked up a basketball in a few months? Not a very dedicated pro, if you ask me. Can't believe we cut Cliff before this fool.

I didn't say he would thrive in the modern NBA. Like I said he was born 30 years to early. Just like his game.

I used to work with this big tall lanky guy who played center in community college. He was always talking about what a baller he was and how awesome the Lakers were. So we started calling him "the illegitimate brother of Travis Knight" behind his back. It made furious.

Simmons' offensive game is extremely weak

I agree. He reminds me of if Boris Diaw came into the league all in shape, young and full of promise. That is pretty much exactly what he is.

TJ McConnell is one of those Delly type players who gets up in your face and plays 110% every possession

He plays with a chip on both his shoulders. That's for sure.
