I think the term you were looking for is regressive. The far left movement was becoming regressive as fuck and people saw right through this sham.

That's the trouble with the politics of counter-reaction. The backlash will probably be equally authoritarian and "regressive." Overreach leading to overreach, leading to overreach, and on, and on. How long can a so-called nation endure under those circumstances?

To his credit, Trump's acceptance speech was all class.

Now that I've had some time to think about it, what really strikes me is that he didn't include in it anything about repealing Obamacare or building walls or deporting 11 million people or any of that. The only policy proposal he talked about was a big infrastructure spending project--basically a traditionally Democratic big spending proposal.

Maybe it was all part of healing the nation or whatever, but it was remarkable. Not at all what I expected.

Seriously wondering if Bernie would've won. I genuinely think he would, as he would've shaved off the margins of victory of rust-belt Angry White Men.

    Huh.

If anyone disagrees, no problem: We'll just grab them in the pu$$y, we can do what we want.

If you didn't have to fill in little dots on the ballot Trump would've lost big.....the voters that got him in probably couldn't spell his name...America...you just failed again big time! Not going to change my address though

I really wish Boston Legal was still running right now. Their take on this election would be hilarious!

Amazing how few Oregonian counties actually voted for Hillary even though they were the most heavily populated counties

The Dems did this to themselves.

They propped up Trump early on because they thought he'd be easier to beat.

They rigged the primary and forced a candidate on the public that most people don't like.

They made this bed and now they have to lie in it.
