I am most thankful. And Thanks for pointing it out. I lived through the entire thing, many things up close and personal. I see no figgin reason to return to that era, or even the approach. I don't even want to hear it. Hillary absolutely frightened me with her blame the Russian's game.
CNN had a reporter on the ground in Moscow. She was saying that Russian politicians saw her as a warmonger and difficult to deal with.
So do the Russians in this country. So do I. Well to be fair, I don't know how far she would go, but she was using them as an enemy to rally her supporters around. Not good!
somebody posts I'm a Hillary lover and they know I voted for her and you reply....exactly this and like the post....that's you doing what you say others do...what's the beef? I voted Johnson
So did I, but I've been accused of being pro Trump while never writing a thing to suggest I am. Only things anti-Clinton because I cannot stand her. The post I cited talked about people making this kind of claim (pro Trump, pro Clinton) if you post things negative about the opponent.
When this election began, when they all lined up, there was only one candidate that I preferred more than Trump. Rand Paul. There was no other candidate on the other side that could have been worse that Clinton, in my view. I was wrong about wanting Paul, he could not have pulled off this defeat, perhaps of the worse option in history. Thank you Mr. Trump.
Just want to gauge the feeling in the room. trump supporters here, do you think trump will actually be able to: stop tpp? Nafta? throw hillary in prison? make massive spending in infrastructure? a new "new deal"? reign in lobbying? impose term limits? "drian the swamp"? fix healthcare? these are all things i would be in favor of. i doubt he gets any of it actually done, imo.
I see that you have left off Build a wall Deport all the minorities Ban gay marriage Ban abortion Those are obviously the first things on his "to do" list.... duh /s
Seriously though, I don't think he'll be able to accomplish any of that. The establishment is still in place. Just because there's a GOP President and a GOP House/Senate doesn't mean that the other elected officials are going to suddenly vote in favor of campaign finance reform, or term limits or against things like NAFTA or TPP. Trump might be able to prevent TPP from being passed, but I don't see NAFTA or term limits getting past the House or the Senate.
I will give it a go. stop tpp? >>> Yes or modify the hell out of it. No Treaty without a Presidents signature. Nafta? >>> Yes. Renegotiate or tear it up. Entirely up to the President to start. Will the Senate radify the result? Probably. throw hillary in prison? >>> He ought to start the investigation. But I doubt he will. Sort of hope he pardons the sailor in jail for having pics of an old sub on his phone though. make massive spending in infrastructure? a new "new deal"? >>> It won't be anywhere near as massive as Obama's, probably last longer and grow as the economy picks up. reign in lobbying? >>> I hope we see some change. impose term limits? >>? I sure wish he could, but I don't expect Congress to stifle themselves. "drian the swamp"? >>> He already has in a big way. The Clinton's are getting smaller fix healthcare? >>>> Repelled for sure, perhaps the first day. But this does not fix it, you cannot undo the harm that has been done to some people. You can not expect insurance to run as social program. It will never worked Fixing this will not happen soon if ever. This will be a bitch to fix now that it is so fucked up. I do think he will improve the situation for the Vets.
Well.....Obama did a pretty decent job of the digging us out of shambles Bush/Cheney left this country in. Hopefully Donnie and the Deplorables won't make too much of a crater in the one four year term he gets before America realizes they effed up......
